Thank you for posting this so much--the show is so edited that I'd never have guessed that there was all this background to their argument. Callum is creepy but he got a terrible edit--BIG TIME! Blaming Dexter for his emotional reaction is a crazy thing that therapists put a fast stop to--and the show's edit repeated it so much. But that was not the context of this conversation at all. Callum makes the stuff Dexter does seem like what guys do in prison to belittle others and gain power. I like Dexter, but this is lousy behavior nonetheless.
Personally, I just see Callum as playing the victim and using whatever information he can to turn the other housemates (as well as the public) against Dexter. If he was so bothered, why didn't he tell Dexter that he was deeply upset by some of his actions sooner? I see this as a last stand, laying all of his cards on the table in the hopes of painting Dexter as the villain and himself as the bully victim. Plus, Callum is not that innocent either; he badmouthed Dexter behind his back for weeks. In that respect, they were both as bad as each other (although, I do think that Dexter was less concerned as he had other things going on in the house). Just my opinion...
