Hi Alex, I perfected this trick with a free choice of the spectator while they can choose 1 out of 4 cards they like most, let's say the king of spade. Then I search 4 cards pour of the deck like you do in the beginning but with the visible side up. 1 is the King of spade and 3 random placeholder, the spectator can choose. While this process I roadrun the other 3 kings to the top of the deck, do the flips like you did and voila... The placeholders transformed into the kings. I think that works great each time. You need no setup and the spectator got his 4 free chosen favourite cards of the deck. Cheers
It was awesome! Would you recommend that an extra clean up precaution would be to do a Charliet (can't spell) cut while they're distracted by the four aces would be good?
My son's getting crazy good at sleight of hand and now, he's challenging me to "dazzle" him with a few tricks of my own. Problem is; I'm no good. The simple tricks you're showing is exactly where I need to start and hope to "dazzle" my son with this one. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks.
I have problem doing those breakcounts. It is either visible or had 3 or 5 instead of 4 cards which kinda screws 4 card trick totally. Or should I make my own trick where 4 of kind turns to 3 of kind with some visible fooling 🤔😅
This is EXCELLENT! I am an "experienced beginner" and this is EXACTLY the kind of Huge Impact and visual trick I've been looking for that has handling that I can actually wrap my head around and moves that with LITTLE practice I can get down and do. I wish I could find more like this! I was able to follow this through with a deck in my hands on the first watch through! That's what the real magic is to ME! Thanks for this effect and for making the video so clear, properly paced and easy to understand. You got me on the reveal.... my magic brain knew something was going on but my eyes teamed up with your hand and fooled me HARD! I watch thinking "this is going to be a super complicated or skill based trick that I'm never going to be able to do but I'll watch anyway" then you revealed that I can do it. BOOM! Double mindfreak! 😂
I like this 4 ACE Production. An alternative way that I've been using also is palming the Aces under the deck while spreading and when stripping them from the deck have the 4 alternate cards on top of the Aces and when putting the deck down take the top 4 alternate cards back to the bottom of the deck leaving the 4 Aces in hand. This way doesn't allow you to show the cards picked though therefore not changing them either and just making it look like the Aces were picked randomly. This version adds another element to it really 👐♣️♥️♠️♦️
Brilliant. Thanks, Alex. I have to laugh though at soo many magic tutorials that say "easy" and I have to watch several times and then a lot of practice.
The doubles he does in the video is my favorite ever. If you are having trouble getting the breaks i suggest going and watching his tutorial on double lifts. He explains the move to get the break in greater detail :)
Learned that effect from Michael Ammar back in the early 90s, "Acrobatic Aces". Been doing it for years. I follow the production up with "Twisting the Aces", and finally "Dr. Daily's Last Trick".
Most tricks that you perform take me a lot of practice to learn (which is not bad) however this trick was very easy and could be changed slightly depending on how you want to perform. Nice trick keep up the good work.
Practicing pinky breaks is essential to any beginner magician. It will step your game up ten fold. Good luck to anyone practicing this trick. Great vid by a wonderfully humble magician.
Wow,Alex, what a great paced routine, with minimal angle sensitivity, and simple method,it would not maybe work so well in a less structured order, but as you did it, perfect balance! More of the same please.
Another absolutely beautiful card tutorial by the one and the only ALEX PANDREA!!!! I signed up for your course in the first week and cannot wait for August! personally I use the four of a kind for zoom magic shows ect. as it is a flashy and visual ;-)
Nice one! However, I always wonder what you would do if the spectator actually madly wanted to pick one of the top cards. Could you maybe someday make a video on how to turn this kind of situation around? I have hecklers in my family who traumatized me :D lol
I would say that performing frequently for family and/or friends who aren't supportive is not useful. I'm not advocating that you don't learn to handle hecklers but hecklers that are strangers are different from hecklers within family. My best advice would be to gain the courage and competence of performing for strangers when you're out and about. The issue that you're having with the top card being chosen, I assure you, isn't a real issue when performing for strangers. But if you want to feel a little more secure, peak at the top card, and if they choose it, switch to a mind reading effect.
If someone touched one of the aces, I would just go with it. When you show the four picked cards, you could say “Well at least one of you found an ace” and use the ace as the card that flips over the other cards. Then you don’t have to pick up or ditch the extra card, because it’s already an ace.
Nice one pretty hard for a beginner but I'm intermediate so I can figure out ways around the hard parts. Been working on it a while won't take much longer. Definitely adding it to the library. Thanks man!
Finding the 4 aces is strong enough as its own thing I think. But for even more effect, maybe do a different 4 of a kind trick earlier where you find 4 kings, so you're building up. "We found 4 kings earlier, and that's a pretty good hand. But....(trick).... 4 aces is even better."
I tend to use the same 4 of a kind production as an opening trick for out of this world, i know its weird but since i have 2 blak and 2 red card out of the deck its perfect to start some kind of oil and water routine without having to fumble in middle trying to find another red and black card. This way i only need to hold a single break and i can start. Also the first trick makes it so i don't need to show the cards are shuffled, they picked random cards into a random order deck as far as they know and i have been fake shuffling the deck all the way trough anyway. I still have the video from michael ammar explaining this 4 aces routine if you are interested
I love that trick, learned it at 52 cards I think but I like to give the 3 cards to the spectator and let them shake the cards while doing a shake change
You are so amazing Alex please teach me for me you are a God. Insane !!! You are the one and only .....Expert at the card table .....Alex Pandrea.....the Dai Vernon of the 2000's!! The cards in your hand purr like a cat you are so smooth.
Thanks Alex. amazing card trick. You know this isn't easy for everyone to do all the steps. this needs great sleight of hands. counting 4 cards is already a stuck :-(
Happy Friday!! Remember, orders close on July 31st! alexpandrea.com
Alex Pandrea hey alex, I started a magic youtube channel about 2 weeks ago. Any tips to make it grow? Btw, thanks for making more videos
I just missed it by ONE hour! :(

Youre a very good father. Its awesome you make the effort to connect with your son like that.
Alex: (easy)
Me: (4 hours later) oh that’s how he holds the cards
Same here.
Yea its not really easy. To make the cut not visible in a live performance is pretty hard!
@@GodTierHuman pinky break/thumb break is also hard for me

I appreciate that you're still putting up videos while also doing the 5-week course. Much love brother!
Everybody gansta 'till the spectator pulls out 4 kings
Everybody gangsta till the camera man pulls out all the queens
That's when you bet the spectator you can make a better hand.
Everybody gansta ‘till the spectator pulls out 4 jokers
The fact there aren't even four jokers....
Yes only two

Garry Thirtle alex actually has a tutorial on that he uses svngali cards in it
My favourite tutorials are from Pandrea and Madison. Just unbelievable slights!
Oh... turns out EASY is an acronym: every amateur starts yearning. Great trick. Will take hours of practice for me given so many moves and subtleties.
Brilliant. Thanks, Alex. I have to laugh though at soo many magic tutorials that say "easy" and I have to watch several times and then a lot of practice.

One of your best tutorials Alex. Clear, fast and practical. Thanks for sharing
Nice trick because you revealed how did you do it. That way, you are not really tricking people but helping them not to be fooled.
Very slick. Very clean. Impressive sir. You make it look easy. Your 20+ years of practice shows...bravo 👏

You can put your fingers on the top cards and spread the rest 99% they will pick from the middle .

@Erika, may I suggest to use this line, “touch the back of 4 cards, some where from the middle of the deck”
If someone touched one of the aces, I would just go with it. When you show the four picked cards, you could say “Well at least one of you found an ace” and use the ace as the card that flips over the other cards. Then you don’t have to pick up or ditch the extra card, because it’s already an ace.
