- This is the first review of the Nerf Rival Artemis
I found this at Target in the bay area (California). As of today, only 1% of stores have it in stock, just happened to be ours!

Congrats on becoming a power player in the youtube nerf community so fast.
My guess for how the chambering mechanism works is something akin to the khaos' belt system. It takes from the tube on your right first because it turns counter clockwise from the nerfer's perspective, and with the ball from the right tube already in the socket, the balls from the other tubes won't push past the ball that's already there.
Now I'm even more excited to get one, as soon as they land over here. Looking forward to the internals/followup vid.

Seeing as how the Apollo could fire 2 rounds through the use of the jam clearing button, is this achievable with the Artemis?

I wasn't expecting this to come out till January, but now that I think of it I guess hasbro wanted to get this out for Christmas

Wow, I'm impressed by Hasbro's design of the loading system! It's way better than having to load 3 individual mags into the blaster. Great quality review of this blaster, nice work!
The irony that you were the first to get it
I assume you will end up making, and I will end up purchasing, a replacement set that doubles as a stock while increasing ammo capacity from 30 to at least 50 if not 60. Looks like simply ripping out the back end and sticking longer mags in should be very, very easy.

Looking at the front of the Blaster, and noting that the ring rotates clockwise, I think it is fairly obvious that it basically pushes a round in from the first available magazine since it is draining from the one on the left side first. Then as it rotates past the other magazines the ball inside it keeps others from getting fed, until it advances with an empty slot.
Yup. That's what I'm thinking too.

expanding the 3 tubes when adding a stock should actually be quite easy. depending in legth i'd say 30 darts extra, no Problem.
