I guess 201 pairs!! I don't know if you live close to a VA hospital but we are always collecting socks for the homeless veterans. They keep a closet to hand out to the vets when they come in. Great haul!!
next time you come across scrap fabric like that at joanne's grab it. that stuff sells for a fortune on ebay. Quilters and crafters will snag that stuff up in no time at all. they sell it by thelb. quilters will cut it down to 1"x1" suares for a postage stamp quilt, others will use a interfaciing to get a boho looking sewing tiny odd shapes together to get big enough piece to get a 10" x10" square. what they do with it is amazing. i think there are about 105 pairs of sock. if i have the right amount give the money to someone you know that needs it. i have everything i need.

OMG Dunham's in Pottsville is my favorite diving place!! Found 9 pairs of brand new Nike... Cases of socks, name brand coats and sweatshirts... It was AMAZING and it happens almost every time I go there!!! Don't know what their problem is, but I'm not complaining :)
mine too. i tried so many tricks and hacks to make sure what went into the washer as a pair came out as a pair but somewhere in between the washer and dryer one would always get eaten. then there would be the ones that got left after whatever practice they had, and the ones i just had to throw out bc they decided that socks make good shoes and would wear them outside! kids are gone now but i find my husband goes through a lot of socks. mine last for years. his not so much. haha
