I have so many different ideas for a music video but that's one that stands out and is an image I always see when that part hits.
This song means so much to me as I have dealt with a lot of toxic relationships specifically within my family. The lyrics just really resonated with me and its helped me realize that cutting off and setting boundaries with those people was the best thing I had to do for me. Normally not one to comment but if this helps even one person I am glad to get this story out. A year ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer and this turned our world upside down. This song came out at the perfect time and while this may be a song about a relationship, my wife took the words in another direction. As we approached her surgery to remove the tumor, too many of these words rang true. "i still feel you crawling under my skin, you left a certain kind of sick that i cant let go of"."That curse you left, it ends tonight, even if i have to tear out my insides" With the surgery behind her, she has years of treatments in front of her but we are trying not to let it control our lives. "Im done reliving the pain you dealt me, Im sick of trying to take back time. Today I live for something more" Going forward is going to be a mental battle, but we both live for something more
I simply love this band, this song, it fills me up, I love someone without conditions or anything and with all its imperfections and in the end, he told me, the most prudent thing is that we stop talking and he left, MIW perfect ❤️✨

When disguise came out, I was in a dark place. More depressed than I have ever been. But I moved on, I became happier and I met someone who made me realize I didn't need a disguise. It was like life had been brought back into me. Today, I found this song and made me realize, I'm depressed just like I was before. That person who helped me is no longer there for me. I'm alone again, I've been burned on both ends yet again.

A year ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer and this turned our world upside down. This song came out at the perfect time and while this may be a song about a relationship, my wife took the words in another direction.
As we approached her surgery to remove the tumor, too many of these words rang true. "i still feel you crawling under my skin, you left a certain kind of sick that i cant let go of"."That curse you left, it ends tonight, even if i have to tear out my insides"
With the surgery behind her, she has years of treatments in front of her but we are trying not to let it control our lives. "Im done reliving the pain you dealt me, Im sick of trying to take back time. Today I live for something more"
