Hey here’s and extra tip!! Save all of your references on your desktop or tablet just so that you have a backup of the reference if the site crashes!! This is super important because of the overload of users, it’s also just helpful to have those for quick access, you can save the file as the characters ID as well!!

It’s completely optional, and I think when people chose to do it, its only a few times, not every time. I’m so excited for your first art fight! I hope you have lots of fun!!

I remember your video from last year which was so helpful! It was actually one of the things that introduced me to artfight! (Also it’s my first year so kinda dumb question but how do you add images to your profile? I’ve seen other people do it but I swear I’ve pressed every formatting button and copy and pasting doesn’t work) go team wither!! Good luck!!!!
So glad the videos are helping! 💕 to add photos to your profile, you first need a link to the image somewhere else on the internet (so like with the stamps on my page, I link back to where they were uploaded on deviantart by ArtFight). Once you have the image link on your clipboard go to your profile editor and click on the photo icon in the toolbar. A menu will pop up with an area for links. Paste it there then at the bottom of the pop up is a submit button. Click to save and it should add to your profile 😊

I’m not sure why it’s giving you a white square… was the image link to a private Facebook or Instagram maybe? I’ll do a video to help out with visual guides for sure! I’ll try and get that done today or this weekend! 💕

Yes that should work the same way as the badges. I’ll put together a short video this later today if not, then this weekend since I think lots of people are interested in the same thing 💕

You can include the themes but you don't have to!

I understand that there are two themes but how do the themes correlate to the art? The characters being drawn as an attack don’t have to match the theme ?

Hi, I‘m kinda late here xD but I have one more question. I saw some other profiles that also have a different background, like a drawing by them as layout. It‘s not just plain black. Also their character tabs etc are placed somewhere else, how is that possible?
Those are done with CSS and donator status which is explained pretty well here at this link under the cool CSS backgrounds section: artfight.net/info/faq

I have a hard time on there since my wifi speed is quite low because i live in a third world country but my drawing skills aren't the best but i think its ok, im still questioning my art style so this should be fun! If my page even loads haha
The server always crashes the first week because of traffic volume so if it helps please know you’re not alone! A good tip is to save references for attacks you want to work on that first couple days so you don’t have to fight for access to the website when it’s at the most crowded times 💕

I hope it’s excitement nerves ☺️ no pressure! Art Fight is honestly such a relaxed and at-your-own-pace community event that I find it’s easier and more comfortable than things like inktober or mermay typically are. I hope this helps easy your nerves and I wish you an amazing first year!!!!
