GEO Group Australia Junee Correctional Centre What Makes a Man a Man in Contemporary Australia

The GEO Group Australia is working with psychologist and University of Sydney senior lecturer Agi O'Hara to create a 'virtual' mentoring project for men titled What Makes a Man a Man in Contemporary Australia. The project comprises a series of interviews and multi-media resources featuring prominent Australian men. It provides access to the wisdom and experience of these respected public figures and is an ideal resource for those who have not been fortunate enough to have male mentors in their lives. The interviews will be used to develop an innovative mentoring program for prisoners, with GEO tracking its effectiveness in reducing re-offending.
