I know it sounds cheesy but I now look forward to these videos coming out. I've been watching chilled for years now but haven't ever said that. It's only cause I don't comment a lot, but honestly thank you to the whole group for these videos.
Im happy we can still make people laugh after all of these years. Andddd it aint cheesy. I love reading this comments because it affirms that we are doing something right. Im lucky to have a good grp of friends for this
I’ve only been watching a year or so but he reminds me so much of one of my old halo 3 crew (he passed away a few years ago). Honestly the whole vibe of everyone brings back those days. The east laughter and jokes, everyone just having fun win or lose. Glad people still play for fun and not just to be dicks online.
@@ChilledChaosGAME Been watching since the Gmod days (I think I found you through TheRPGMinx's collab videos). I've always enjoyed your videos, but now I'm actually refreshing the subscription page frequently whenever it's around the time you post... So rather than "We can still make people laugh", It's more like your content seems to be getting better and better. Love this current group of friends you have, and all the games you currently play.
@@InternetStorm yup. Chilled is my top place for content. Daily, multi hour videos kinda just make it for me
Chilled and his group are hilarious and I’ve got to be honest he seems a lot happier with this group than his old friends, I watch every video in its entirety as well
Chilled doesn't just rent out space in Cheesy's head, he has a whole palatial estate with heated gold toilet seats and a olympic-sized terrarium for Tortellini.
Chilled owns real estate in Cheesehead that he rents out to somebody
Fun fact:
The chimichanga was invented on accident.
A waitress tripped when carrying a plate with a burrito on it and said burrito ended up landing in an active fryer.
Instead of making a fresh batch and throwing out the now fried burrito, the waitress fished it out of the fryer and served it to the customer.
Yo !
Billie Holiday was a singer. She did swing and jazz music in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. The singer Cheesy was thinking of is Buddy Holly, who, surprisingly, died the same year as Billie, 1959.
Glad someone caught that. Made me chuckle pretty hard :)
*two minutes and 16 seconds into the video*
trivia murder party host: "wow, so much unacceptable content here"
well, with this chaotic group, what did you expect? lmao
For the landline thing in guesspionage, I can honestly say most if not all my family got rid of it mostly cause everyone got tired of telemarketers and phone scames. Smartphones makes it so much easier to block numbers.
my landline is set as an emergency contact in my and my family's cellphones so if we get a call from it we know its important its also useful if anyone is home alone and loses their cell they can call it
His face when Jojo said furniture was priceless xD

Dude I cant tell you how much I always look forward to these uploads. Anything you play really, I just love hearing you pulling your shenanigans whether it be your occasional solo games like spore where you have noone to restrain you from being over the top with your silly imagination, or your usual game of deception where your silver tongued lies get you in so many situations, and you have your friends to bounce bits off of. Anything really! Youve just become such a huge anxiety relief over the years chilled, since I was a struggling teen to now as a whole ass adult. Sincerely, thank you. Youve made my life better.
3:36 - The pipe is Fistulous because the Definition of fistulous
1 : of, relating to, or having the form or nature of a fistula.
2 : hollow like a pipe or reed.
And now you know!
they actually did a follow up to the Stanford prison study, called the BBC prison study, which found different results than Zimbardo's Stanford study. which suggested that maybe some of the students were under direction from Zimbardo (to act with force) as he was actually part of the warden group. This speaks more to the idea that when you are near someone you view as a researcher, you are more likely to do things you normally wouldn't so that they get good results. this was also tested with another experiment where people were asked to give electric shocks to other people for answering questions, there were two groups, one accompanied by a psych and one not. the group with the psychologists would administer higher electric shocks because they thought thats what the experimenter would want.
However, ethics regulations nowadays mean you cant do these types of studies anymore
The electronic shock one, has been done another time. Some would use max setting all the time, while others the lowest setting
Those darn ethics...
26:25
DEFINITELY wouldn’t get away with trying that experiment again: in fact, it was so criminally terrible that it’s used as a prime example of how NOT to conduct psychological experiments/studies.
Movie still pisses me thinking about it, especially all the students trying to claim ‘oh, we’re good people deep down, that’s not who we really are!’
No bitch, that’s EXACTLY who you are deep down, unfettered by societal expectations
Yeah, just emphasizing here: The only reason we know of the experiment is BECAUSE you can't do stuff like that anymore, haha
As for the students trying to claim they're still good... I do think that's kind of the original point of the experiment though, right? It wasn't just those students who became corrupted with their power; if any of us were in that experiment the same thing was likely to happen.
Although some of the results and methods used to construct the experiment were potentially flawed. Was just now reading (I never saw the movie so maybe this is in there?) that the want-ad said they were looking for guards & prisoners, which could have primed a group of people who were more willing to be into that sort of thing (as opposed to if you said you were just looking for subjects to a psychological study, which would be more neutral in terms of people who applied.)
So who knows, maybe you're right all around, lol!
@@IRanOutOfPhrases not necessarily: while you are correct that the Ad was worded in a ways that the guards would in fact go full on corrupt and power abusive, people that genuinely aren’t(for lack of a better term) asshats wouldn’t fall to the level the guards did.
Sure it’s an easy thing to say, so people without a doubt are gonna take me stance with a grain of salt and be more likely to believe the guards, but with how it went off the rails, the guards were basically told ‘run wild, do whatever the fuck you want’, and what did they choose to do? They broke all the rules given to em, and made things as difficult as possible for the ‘inmates’ as possible(id have to double check actual source material, but the movie has a scene that highly suggests the guards made the prisoners r*** each other)
I don’t see how literally anyone could fall that far, and we do have some proof there was a not as bad guard: again, would have to double check sources for the name, but one guard didn’t actively participate as much in that corrupt behavior, and at the start tried to reign the others in...just not very firmly, and then he gave up and just let shit happen
On that Pompeii question, my mother was alive and saw the effects of the Mount Saint Helens eruption in 1980 and I learned about it in history class, so I knew immediately that it wasn't even close to the correct answer
My mom was riding horses in Idaho during the eruption. It rained ash on her.
Now I feel boring for knowing it from Percy Jackson books
Blather is probably one of the best games jackbox has ever put out. The gameplay is fun even when you can’t get the answer plus a huge variety of topics and janky clues. Plus the satisfaction of getting it right.
"Am I the out of touch one?" Chilled, my dude, you are a streamer. Of course you're out of touch. But not nearly as out of touch as Cheesy.
I adore that you keep putting out hour or more videos. It makes my day through work or a rough night home alone so much better. Laughing with your awesome group of friends really keeps me going man. Much love.
Man, it's fascinating to see how little you guys know about normal average people in Guesspionage XD
I'm so happy I got Akira. "Bikes around the mass" was a great clue.
1:18:00 I actually find the to-do list as a good way of dealing with executive dysfunction. It lays out expectations in a manageable way. I can focus on only one thing at a time, and then I can cross it off and see what I have accomplished.
Yeahh, for ADHD especially to do lists that automatically repeat every day are wonderful, you can write down every basic thing you need to do in a day that you otherwise forget to do, I've been using a to do list like that every day for two years
I feel like the whole generation of people raised on halls fruit breezers was forgotten in this 😆
I was there for the stream and am proud to say that I correctly predicted Cheesy getting killed by pegs.
The banter of this group is insanely good! So much witty and goofy commentary and they all play off each other so well, seriously so entertaining and impressive to me 😅👍
Looked up an okapi. It's pretty much a small giraffe with stripes like a zebra on its hind legs.
The last unicorn was animated by the same team that would go on to be some of the first animators under Studio Ghibli, I forget the name of the studio though. Amazing movie.
Rankin-Bass. They also did the animated Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films.
@@iamtequilalc thank you!!
@@kelseycain3469 They also did most of the classic Christmas movies :)
18:57 Its borderline comedic how I know that #4 is a pear, because a certain character in a certain TCG anime has Anjou as her last name, & she uses a plant-based deck.
21:05 Fun fact: My 5th grade class counted it out way back when, & Green Eggs & Ham has exactly 50 different words in the entire story.
21:06 All of these answers are correct. Sam-I-Am is NEVER offered green eggs and ham. Sam-I-Am is offering them to the unnamed other guy.
1:32:48 Jojo: "Someone take a picture! Someone take a picture right now!"
Meanwhile, the background is a guy on the shitter.... 🤣
Jackbox has provided so much content. There's always some new insanity to provide.
1:34:55 when Jeremy says “Gal, got it” i honestly thought he made the best pun because you could totally pronounce Gadot like that
same TBH
Please inform Plat that Mt St Helen's is in washington state and apart of the ring of fire.
These 2+hr ABSOLUTE GEMS get me through my monotonous factory job. Seriously, I have a playlist dedicated to videos I can listen to while working, and the VAST majority are your videos. You bring happiness and smiles to my days, and help me stay (somewhat) sane with your particular brand of insanity. 😆
I'd completely understand if you get burnt out, and need a break from some certain games (or entirely), but I GREATLY appreciate you staying consistent for all these years, and allowing people like me to find happiness in your videos, the light in the darkness.
I'm loving the new group of friends you found, everybody clicks so well together. Do I miss the old times? Of course. But your comfort and happiness outweigh all of that, and this seems to be the answer. Keep being awesome, Chilled, and take care of yourself. 💜
Great video as always... also 2nd time chilled survived alone in Skewers.... everyone was Disappointed he wasn't "Skewered" again
Thank you for still uploading here, Chilled. I can't always make streams, and you and your friends have helped me through hard times for over six years now. These are always so silly, fun and entertaining, so thank you! :)
Man I would KILL to get to play Jackbox games with these guys! They seem so fun!
about the billie holiday question, she was black singer born 1915 and passing in 1959
Lmao Billie Holiday was a singer. Cheesy was probably thinking of Buddy Holly.
Something I said to my partner the other day is how happy to see chilled doing something he loves with a group of people that loves playing games together. Every day I look forward to the next upload. Keep doing what you're doing.
For the cough drop thing in guesspionage, I used to grab the honey lemon ones before a performance in choir, helps me not destroy my throat in the Tenor section
12:10 “that’s not the singer?” he asks as if Billie Holiday isn’t a famous jazz singer
back when i was in basic training for the army, we were not allowed to have sweets so cough drops were our candy. we would buy like 3 bags of cough drops every week.
I have never felt so attacked when the cough drop question came up I love those things
For Guesspionage: Ricola cough drops are good. When I was a kid I used to fake a cough so I'd have an excuse to eat one.
The chimichanga was invented by accident. It was a Mexican family owned restaurant. The mother made a burrito and was moving to a plate when she dropped it into the fryer. She went to cuss but realized halfway through the word he young daughter was there, and changed the ending to catch herself (think Someone changing fu*k to fudge). Someone tried it and liked it, so they started selling them.
Ayo! Happy to see some more Jackbox :DD
I’ve been watching chilled since the start of the pandemic. His videos and his group of friends have always been able to cheer me up and get me through long hours at work. Thank you!!
So chilled is seeing the future and reading minds. If he starts moving objects via the force, I’m naming him my favorite superhero.
To anybody wondering, The Stanford Prison Experiment has been discredited by pretty much all profesional psychology instances at this point. The experiment was conducted in fundamentaly flawed ways, and the results have been deemed unreliable. I think the only thing the experiment proved was that if you dehumanize both sides in a social situation with an unbalanced power-dynamic, then both sides will reduce the other to 'concepts' rather than 'people', and treat them based on their understanding of said concepts. This isn't and wasn't new information, and reflects poorly on the one in charge of the experiment.
We have an Independence Day technically.
Except it's actually just called Canada Day, and it's three days before Independence Day.

Or something extremely close to that
I would’ve expected it to be the other way around, “lips that touch liquor will not touch ours”

Not even done with the first round and they already said multiple wrong things lol. "Buddy Holiday" is cracking me up
It's so weird hearing them say my name over and over lol 32:30
Akira Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress was the inspiration for Star Wars. Seven Samurai is an amazing film.
47:15 correction Felines are corpuscular or least most of them are meaning most active in dawn and dusk learned that from an audiobook about Shapeshifter !
Corpuscular!! That was the word I was looking for. I felt so lame when I tried to correct them and then didn't know the name for 'active in dawn and twilight'
@@noabinnendijk361 the Kate Daniels books/audiobooks are really good it’s modern fantasy and is pretty unique in terms of story and world I highly recommend! Especially if you like mythology!

2:07:09 "Seven Dwaves" Fuck that catches me off-guard every time.
For anyone else who is late and curious about the library discussion around 1:27:30, you can check out more than books at the library. Besides books, you can also check out audiobooks, movies and tv shows on dvd, video games, and timed access to the internet. Please go to your local library and see what they have.
“I’m an adult so I can say this without giggling…. What’s the softest of these woods?”
39:10 everyone in discord laughed 😂🤣🤌🏾
I think a fair amount of those “psycho” answers are a rural/urban thing, I live in the middle of nowhere, so there’s no fast food place to bother getting delivery from that often. It also means I can’t get great internet, which is part of why I have a library card, to go there and use it
1:56:00
I kept going back and forth between John Carpenter's The Thing and The Blob, and then when someone mentioned Anime, I was like FUCK it's that one, and then couldn't think of the name until literally half a second until after the timer ran out
Everyone shocked at the Bass Pro Shop answer like we haven’t been in a pandemic the last two years.
"The audience is sittin' there not eating hot pockets suckin' on cough drops in silence." - Jeremy
I had to say yes to going to bass pro more than 6 times in the last year...... because I work there LOL
Cheesy: Even if you fish you only need to go into a bass pro maybe 3 times a year.
Me: Yeaaaa.. three times. Uh huh. 😅
The edges of bread are amazing for garlic bread and grilled cheeses
Every time I hear Platy talk for more than 5 minutes, I get the impression that he's the kind of guy that randomly offers you DMT at a party, then gets mad and calls you a narc when you say no
I felt very proud about getting Akira
Yessss chilled with trivia murder party 🎉
Chilled you are the ONLY youtuber who could make a 30 min video and I'd be disappointed it's not longer. I love getting home from work and catching up on your videos with the gang.
@12:15 my hart sank "Buddy Holliday"???? Hate that Im not much older than them but its Buddy Holly.... and yes Billie Holliday is a singer too!
I 100% give the ends of the bread loaf to the dogs.
Fun fact, the Stanford Prison Experiment is hella discredited now because the methodology was shit. When they were recruiting participants they explicitly advertised that the position was for prison wardens so there was a bias in who applied and many of the "wardens" were coached to be cruel by the scientist running it so he'd get the results he wanted. IIRC when they've recreated the study they've had trouble replicating the results. By which I mean, the "wardens" generally treat the inmates well and are more likely to work in their favor than against them.
Dryer sheets are actually bad for your clothes as well as the environment. Fabric softener too

I recommend salt fat acid heat. It’s a great look into the four main ways to add flavors to food.
Chilled with that $299 read was terrifying.
Cheesy confusing Billy Holiday for Buddy Holly hurts me. Especially since neither were born before 1900
Fuck yea, blather round. My favorite jackbox game!
Omg the fact they didn't immediately get pogs made me lose my mind.
i was there for this. chat was robbed of our win
People who actually fish/hunt probably don’t go to a Bass Pro shop very often… They’re fun to visit but overpriced and kinda flashy, plus a lot of people probably don’t live near one. Real fishers most likely go to smaller tackle shops and bait shops.
The Frost Prime reference is crazy dude I've watched his STS for awhile now
Audition is one of the best Japanese horror movies. Idk the other two that were possible answers.
Glorious Godfrey is a DC character, he is a new god who can work for the mainstream media, he fits perfectly there.

The clue is 90´s
Jeremy immediately guesses Ipod. Gotta love the man
When the Cheesy clue is "Hero bikes around the mass," and you somehow guess Akira. I've only seen it once and about 6 years ago.
So I've been trying to catch up on missed media because any time I take a break from it, I end up permanently behind the rate people are uploading at; and it turns out by skipping Chilled's vids, I caught up by a week in 2 days even though I spent a lot of today's time on an appointment. He's one of the few creators worth 1-2 hours a day to someone who isn't conditioned to livestreams. Amazin.
1:04:20 The narrator says "full-size shuffleboard, like on a boat" but no one was listening
Fun fact a lion actually sleeps like 16-20 hours in a day. So there’s that for you
I feel so educated for knowing this! It's because they're sprint hunters, lots of energy put into a short hunt, and because of the heat of their natural habitat during the day
That Blather one was so much fun to watch!!! Such a cool game
On the topic of dryer sheets there is an earth friendly alternative and that is wool dryer balls. They remove static and you can put drops of essential oils on them to add scent to your clothes.
“If it’s around, I get it, I’ll suck on it” -Cheesy 1:00:13
To answer Platys question just in case there are other people who don't know, floor hockey is just hockey but without skates and ice and instead of a puck you get a small hard rubber ball to smack around.
So happy seeing jojo in these, she rules.
