Anwar Maqsood’s writing and Moin Akhtar’s spot on portrayals of everyday characters - and the chemistry the two had together. I wonder if we will have this potent combination again.
Shafaat is as gifted a mimic as Moin Akhtar, and takes Moin Akhtar as his mentor. He will probably go on to be as great a legend, but will he have the scripts that Moin always had from Anwar Maqsood. Because, make no mistake, without AM’s scripts, even Moin’s genius couldn’t produce such timeless classics.
no match to Moin Akhtar plz....Shafat is a talented person but obviously he is no match to Moin Sahab as besides Anwar sahab's script, Moin bhai had his own great sense of humour combined with intellect ...he was a a stand up comedian and a spot on one....Shafat only mimics pretty well and if you see him in "hr lamha purjosh" nowadays, he is not able to crack good jokes
