The Barber of Seville synopsis (short story opera summary)

Today we're doing a synopsis the classic comedy opera, The Barber of Seville (Il barbiere di Siviglia) by Gioachino Rossini
Count Almaviva is hopelessly in love with the beautiful Rosina in this story. The only problem is that Rosina is under the watchful eye of her guardian, Dr. Bartolo, who intends to marry her for her money. It's all good though! Figaro, Almaviva's secret weapon, comes up with a plan to help the young lovers be together.
