Moreover, it’s a waste of time to keep battling to look young when you are ultimately going to fail, and there are many more important things you could be doing. Shocking ? Why ? Everybody ages and changes. Insulting to say shocking about a natural process that everybody who lives old will go through. Beauty is inside, the outside fades.
My guess is kaseymoe was shocked (as I was) because they chose to age naturally...we are used to seeing 'plastic surgery' which a few obviously did get...but for the most part they aged like the rest of us...are now ageing!
These people haven’t just aged, they’ve changed beyond all recognition. That’s the point. The prurient interest in this is partly because we want to imagine what it might feel like to go from being very attractive to very un- attractive. We feel they’ve either deserved their loss or some kind of karma has befallen them ! Truth is : the lord giveth and the lord taketh away. Luckily for me , I’ve always been butt ugly so ageing won’t change me ! Bear in mind also, that illness like cancer and it’s treatments can have dramatic effects on the human body. Aging is a cruel joke of life when I was young in my 20s and 30's never understood why older folks 70 plus were grumpy and down on life. I now understand it as I approach 60. Entire life changes you try to hang on to your youth it's like a rope slipping though your fingers. Find yourself living in the past the older you get realize the world changed around you everyone suddenly is younger then you.
Yes, it's a tragic part of life but just be glad you had a life at all... most anthropologists will tell you that at least half of all humans who were born throughout history and pre-history died before they were five years old. Makes you think..
there's mostly no need to feel ''down and grumpy about life'' just because you are older. Yes, health makes a difference. But also mental attitude, and a lifetime of small choices that are actually important choices. Moderation in all things. Marry your best friend, keep the mystique alive along with respect for each other. Keep learning and growing in understanding, keep finding ways to see the funny side. When you stop being able to laugh and love in this crazy world... that's the real end.
(and no, singledom and losing a loved partner are not reasons to stay glum. Its not what happens to you but how YOU respond to what happens, that is important).
Shocking? Aging isn't shocking phenomenon. It's the most natural thing that everyone has to face, if you live long enough! Use word "shocking" for something that isn't normal.

I had covid - Delta variant - and was hospitalized with clots in my lungs (When I was 68). I was amazed I could get that sick. It certainly made me more aware of my mortality and the importance of life and the people around me.
Many of these ladies aged elegantly. Some days I look in the mirror and think, good grief, what happened. Other days? Well, if you’re lucky you get to live this long. I’m 71 and hope to live long enough to accomplish what I’m here for, but not long enough to be a problem.
I am old and live with older people in an apartment. almost two hundred of us: the "Woodstock Generation" - hah! some people at 55 can pass for 35.. it affects different people in different manners. the trick is to take what measures you can. keep the skin clean.. get that noxzema and use a mud pack once a week.. you'd be surprised at what less expensive treatments can do to enhance what you have.

These ladies will always be remembered for their time on screen, making them forever young.
It's shocking to see them now, not because of their looks, it just reminds you of how much time has passed, you always imagine they still look as you remembered them.
Exactly. I sometimes marvel when watching films that are 100 years old and then realize literally everyone on screen is already dead.
We all get old. Let us love life.
That's true bro. At least these celebs can speak intelligible English, unlike this douche narrator on here.
Larry Coker His first language obviously isn’t English I get it you don’t like him I don’t either but what you said is fucked up not everyone knows English
@@Dreamworld789_ I got you Moon, but what I don't like is he's probably making money from making fun of how people look when they get old compared to their prime. That's my take on him anyway. And bringing up Penny Marshall who's been dead for 3 years is tasteless. I have no problem with non-English speaking people. I've dated Hispanic girls in the past and learned Spanish to better communicate with them. I just don't see the need to spotlight people that aren't young and beautiful anymore, which is what he's doing.
Larry Coker Yeah same I agree he’s just messed up and probably isn’t trying to be a good person (this video is an amazing example) it’s just weird to connect him making this video to if he can speak English good you know?
@@Dreamworld789_ I understand Moon. To be honest, I was just royally pissed off when I posted my first comment! It just seems to me that it's pretty heartless to make videos like this one and I wanted to say something negative about him in return.
Enjoy your 20's and 30's kids. Those are your prime beauty years and they go by FAST!!! Just remember, we only have a fleeting minute of beauty on the outside, it's what we portray on the inside what really matters as we go through life. Keep that in mind and you will always be beautiful not matter how much your looks may wear down.
Well said Zach. Although I’d say it goes past your 30s. I know people well into their 50s that still look smoking Hot. If you look after yourself you’ll keep those natural looks & beauty for years.
I was pretty hot in my 40s, too
I have been in total denial of my age for to long. Time went very slow for me until my 60's. Then someone put a brick on the accelerator! LOL! A month is like week now in my 70's. The calendar pages flip over so fast. I had most all my teeth and hair until the late 60's. Now I see the writing on the wall!
@@timeriderx Exactly true! Many younger people don’t get it, but they will. For me it started at menopause, and it’s been a gradual downward slope since then. I’m fine with that. It’s natural and happens to everyone, and it’s useless to try and fight it. Moreover, it’s a waste of time to keep battling to look young when you are ultimately going to fail, and there are many more important things you could be doing. The human body in youth is the shiny wrapping paper and pretty ribbons, and that’s great and should be appreciated. But it’s the quality of what’s inside the package that holds the true value of a soul.
@@timeriderx .... I have to agree with the time going by so quickly.....I'm in my late 60's and I've noticed that... " I'm not sure where the past 2 months went, lol " ... I've heard 'Looks are only skin deep' all my life. In fact it was my beautiful Mom who always reminded me of this. These ladies were all brought into out living rooms via TV since we were kids, sharing their beauty and talent. Thank you ladies for all the memories !

Shelley Duvall was absolutely STUNNING when she was younger. She had a polarizing look about her eyes and mouth some hated some loved I'm the latter.
I always thought she was ‘unfortunate looking’, and I didn’t really mean it as a personal diss, it’s just the way I felt about her looks. I thought she was a great actress but I always thought she could’ve benefited by being prettier or that she would have been more popular if that were the case. I love to see when someone sees beauty in a person who is not ‘classically beautiful’ (or classically handsome for that matter). Kudos to you, I love to see people who appreciate someone who is what others might call different looking (or in my case, actually unfortunate looking).
Please don’t take this as it a criticism of Shelley Duvall, I thought she was a great actress but I could never see outer beauty in her. Good for you! I also think it’s downright horrible the photograph they used of her for this pathetic video, this video is designed to make women ashamed of getting older.

There is an obsession for our film actors to always look as they did in their films - so much pressure to meet expectations - unrealistic and for many impossible. I hope we can look to the performances as well as the appeal they generated with appreciation and view these artist with respect as human beings.

@@scroogemcduckrich9705 I thought featuring her on this "list" was going to the lowest possible point the creator could reach, considering that the woman is obviously not well in that image and, presumably, the very last thing on her mind at that moment was being "Camera-ready..." (It's like kicking someone when they're down!)
But, why stop at scrapping the bottom of the barrel of *bad taste and poor judgment* when you can pierce right through it!?

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
All that I can hope for is that someone will do a before and after photo side-by-side after this guy is a cold corpse, and be all *_"shock and awe"_* about it...
Teri Garr has had MS for many years 🙁
What a horrifying voice for narration
Conclusion: these amazing actresses are human and age like the rest of us. With all the camera lights and gobs of theatre makeup, and all the skin damage they do, I think they all look wonderful.
It’s not shocking. How rude! It’s called getting old, something none of us can avoid.
You mean people don’t look 25 anymore at age 75?? How shocking.
This is Ronnie. All I could say is Im glad I was born and seen all these great male and female actors in there prime. NOW LOOK AT THEM. OH my god
I am 53 and there are people who were my age who no longer alive. I am still here and living. Getting older is a prize of life.
Amen. I’m 78. I’ve outlived my warranty. Grateful to still be here, looking old.
Getting older in good health certainly is. I can't remeber last time i was pain free.
@@berits.2346 Me either! At my age sometimes you have to take the attitude that "This is as good as it gets" and be grateful for survival.
