  • Andrew Schulz is a comedian and the host of The Brilliant Idiots podcast alongside Charlemagne. He also does a ton of TV work and is just an overall interesting guy. In the interest of cross-pollination between podcasts I had him on the show this week for a chat and we produced this 2 hour beast of an episode with ease. Enjoy!

Definitely one of your best interviews as far as intellectuality goes! You guys hit some great relatable topics as far as time management and the most interesting, was your conversation regarding the self conscious effect that one goes through when you engage in a relationship. Please bring that topic up again with future intellectual interviewees!👍

Interesting conversation. Some points I agree with but when it comes to "culture vultures" & "cultural appropriation" for me it's on a global level how hiphop and African American culture is the driving force of the globe. Coming from someone who has lived the African American experience for 26 years I can see the impact and wave our culture has across humanity.

Dead Smoking First, get your spelling correct. Second, I'm 26 and I've been way beyond my neighborhood. In fact I've been to many major cities across America. Before you approach me with such a stupid comment do some type of research on google before you respond you ingrate.

The great Paul Mooney said it best "Everybody wanna be a nigga, but don't nobody wanna be a nigga". From the clothing, to the slang, to the dances, to the musical influence, to the way girls want their body shaped, the African American is the most copied individual on this planet. And yet the most shit is talked about them at the same time because of hand-me-down racism

The thing is "cultural appropriation" is a product of diversity....that's what happens when different cultures come together....so progressives/liberals can't be champions of diversity but then call out "cultural appropriation" on anything they see.....so what if Kylie Jenner is wearing fuckin cornrows, so what if a white guy is rapping....If hop hop is mainstream now then what do you expect will happen?......and like Shultz said, if we really play this game, then how many things do other people "appropriate" from white people....the whole thing is ridiculous
