Can we just appreciate how good a job the voice actor did here. Like this isn't edited, it's his actual voice
I can hear a few layering effects added in parts, but for the most part it does seem that way. And yeah, this is one of the most disturbing voices I've heard.
What's surprising is that the voice actor also voiced Funtime Freddy in FNaF Sister Location (Who sounds insane and psychotic) and Overhaul in the My Hero Academia dub (who sounds threatening and serious). Kellen Goff can pull off a lot of voices to be honest!

"They haven't come back from the fields" is my favorite of the random character lines. It's got such a deep story behind it just from those few words and it mega creepy. Especially the idea that someone made that comment, probably in a safe place like a home or village, and *Fiddle was close enough to hear them*
"It's in the house" as well shows he just doesn't care but I think we should see it a bit differently.
The quotes that he says to Nunu, Riven etc... were not in places he could hear. What I think is that Fiddle can just hear all that's been said from the people he killed and maybe those people just went to look for the ones killed.
I think the "Don't open your eyes" is pretty creepy

Fiddlesticks knowing the 'true names' of the Runeterra demons is such a badass thing.
For those that don't know the lore.
God gave Adam the ability to name things, the angels and demons can't, they're stuck with the names given to them
Angels don't mind that part. Demons hate it.
To know a demon's 'true name' is to take power from them and them to admit weakness.
Like you'd had to humiliate a demon into submission for it to give up its name to you. With priests and the like.
So for fiddlesticks just to walk in and playfully say, "Evelynn"

Fiddlesticks saying those things to each Champion is a lot more terrifying when you realize that he either was present when those events took place or is able to tap into your mind and draw out your most traumatic experiences.
I think it’s the second thing, one of its other voice lines is “It knows what we’re afraid of.” So it infers that Fiddlesticks just instinctively knows a person’s greatest fear/trauma due to its nature.
You have no idea how glad I was that he didnt had a voiceline to any of my main champs, I seriously don't want to know what they are afraid of xD

Okay so wait, if Fiddlesticks feeds on fear and repeats the things he's heard...what if there's another layer represented by the line he repeats from one of his victims: "It knows what we're afraid of". What if not all of the "sounds" Fiddlesticks has heard and repeats were ever actually...spoken? What if he "hears" fears that people feel, and expresses them in his own twisted way at his victims so he can bring the fear out of them and feed on it.
The extra layer I was talking about? What if _that is why he speaks the names of other demons._ I know Riot likes pulling from other myths, lore, and legends to craft their own, and there's a fair few references that knowing a Demon/Spirit's true name can give you some form of power over them. Obviously less sentient/younger Demons may not be aware or protective of it, or you could read Taum Kench as an example in bravado and arrogance, since he just throws it around brashly.
The more concerning thought that arises from this...Every region has a different form they ascribe to the entity known as Fiddlesticks. We're given to know that Fiddlesticks is something of a ... primordial demon? One of if not the first of Demonkind. What if all of the forms in all the legends are true? What if the name Fiddlesticks _is only a mortal given name?_ What if literally nothing and no one knows his True Name? The name Fiddlesticks could simply be how ancient people on runeterra described the entity of horrors that pulled ramshackle nearby debris together to assemble its body, yet was always completely recognizable from its power. Maybe every time he manifests he assembles a new vessel from whatever is nearby? If a lone mage in a tower was what summoned him this time, his current body could be made from things that were in the mage's tower. Maybe everytime he manifested on runeterra in a different location he assembled a different body resulting in the same legend with different details.
...I really like eldritch horrors.

Just had a thought. We know from Yone's lore that one of the requirements to defeat/seal way a demon is to know their true name. This could mean that whenever Fiddle meets another demon and just says their name he's not acknowledging them, he's trying to scare them, just like any mortal.

After experiencing the Spirit Blossom event, the voice line "Gray Man" regarding Kindred makes so much sense now. It's so interesting how well Riot intertwines the lore and how well they have things planned.

Nocturn, a creature literary using nightmares to turn people insane is nothing when compared to good ol scarecrow here!
Nocturne's voice lines are also very cool, since it sounds like he directly speaks to the guy playing him, going around "Summoner, are you afraid of me?", while YOU are the one usually called a summoner in LoL.

I believe this will come up in Arcane and may be the reason why Jinx went insane, because of something terrible she accidentally caused in her past. We know she didn't do it intentionally because Fiddlesticks knows what each person is afraid of, probably through some psychic way "It's hunting us! It knows what we're afraid of!" I say this because I highly doubt Fiddlesticks was there when Annie's sister was drowning

Yeah I think he is not just mimicing voices but also mimicing the fears inside the peoples heads that have the strongest effect on their feelings of fear and doubt (not just regarding annies sister, for instance riven as well: the voicelines between characters meeting in the rift represents a short moment of how the champions would react to each other in the lore right? - so fiddle is kind of terrifying people psychologically by reminding them to "burdenful" past events in rivens case her feelings of guilt ) - the "it knows what we´re afraid of" can be interpreted that way

Kindred might be demon
However, they don't seem to be a demon. When Fiddlesticks kills a demon, he names the feeling that the slain enemy represents (Evelynn - "Agony", Nocturne - "Nightmares").
Over the Wolf and the Lamb, Fiddlesticks mocks, as well as other non-demon Champions, using their fears. The phrase "Grey man", perhaps, indicating a real fear of the Kindred. The fear of becoming that lonely, shunned pale man with black hair again.
Please excuse me, English is not my native language, I do not speak it well. I hope I was able to convey the idea more or less clearly.
Kindred is Death. Death is the "Grey Man" within Lamb's story, Death grew lonely in his solitary hunt, and thus split himself in two, becoming Lamb and Wolf. Kindred is "Never one, Without the other".
Kindred fears solitude. If they returned to the state of the grey man, they would be alone again. Hence why Fiddlesticks said as much.

The grey man is a human/spirit that went around the world looking for a friend, everyone got to meet him. Everyone hated him, rejected him. He would sleep wishing the next day wouldn't come. One day, he couldn't take it, so he took an axe and split himself in 2. He is gone and is never coming back, but they have some memories of when they were him. Lamb remembers most stuff while wolf just forgot it or doesn't care.
Ghabriabdou No the grey man is death, he ran around looking for friends by taking in the dead. How ever no one liked him because he is literally death. So hence he cut himself in two.
kindred is death its not a spirit.Kindred its literarly the grim reaper of league of legends and the grey man reference its from Kindred lines when Lamb tells the Wolf a story about a pale man who split himself in two so he can have a friend and that man was kindred who one is 2(lamb and wolf)
Now the interaction to jinx makes a lot more sense

In the first encounter with Jinx, he repeats "it's all your fault", which is the same thing Swain says when he gets a soul fragment from her, "faces fading in the flames, it was all her fault", that's kinda interesting
I assume it has something to do with her family, Swain knows people's secrets and Fiddlesticks can turn your worst fears against you.

The line "It's hunting us. It knows what we're afraid of." to me that implies that Fiddlesticks didn't necessarily hear any of these lines in person when referring to other characters. If it knows what everyone is afraid of then it must have at least some mind reading capabilities. and a lot of these lines refer to situations and events that are painful to the person it's talking to, something that may induce fear or trepidation. So perhaps its delving into its targets mind for memories that bring out fear.
Yeah that makes more sense since there's no way, even if he's powerful, that he could've been at all of those places at the right time to see it happen.

Fiddlesticks is fear itself. It doesn't read minds, it just KNOWS everyone's greatest fear and agony. (And also mimicking people's last words like miss fortune's mother, annie's sister Daisy and vayne's parents)

Another interesting theory for fiddle sticks saying "First of Ten" is in one of the storys there are talked about 10 original demons that get eaten by one. So potentially Fiddle sticks ate all the other primal demons.

Actually with Fiddle's lore there's no reason to believe that his first story iterations didn't simply happen in-canon at a time "before" the present-day cinematics.

He calls them out and names the thing that they feed on. (Eve - 'Agony', Tahm - 'Addiction', Nocturne - 'Nightmares' and Raum (Swain) - 'Secrets')
It is really interesting. These are the only lines (and the names of the demons) that are not just copies of other people's sentences. Imo it is actually Fiddle who says these things. But why? Maybe these demons are the essence of the things they consume and when Fiddle kills a demon he feels their essence in such a raw form that he can't resist to name these things? Why would he say anything? Why would he say excatly this? Idk, but it is scary!
When fiddle respawns he also says 'fear'

Another thought I had is, if nocturne is nightmares, and fiddlesticks is the primordial embodiment of fear, would that make nocturne a kind of separate aspect of fiddle?

My favorite detail that really cements Fiddlestick's alien nature is its "laugh", in which it mimics the sound of a horse. It genuinely has such little understanding of living beings that it can't tell the difference between a horse whinny and human laughter.
