A list like this that does not include Jared Bednar is not a list to be taken seriously. That his players still listen to him and thoroughly embrace and run with the system he advocates speaks volumes about what a successful NHL coach should look like. I'm not too sure if anyone would have these 2 guys in the top 15 because they didn't win a cup, but Pat Quinn and Pat Burns were brilliant coaches and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Maple Leaf fan. Quinn did a very good job at Vancouver and Burns at Montreal. The Leafs were very unlucky to not make it to the final in 1993 against the Kings. Thank-you Kerry Fraser for your contribution to that.
