I just keep remembering in seasons past how we always got our hopes up high about this team,
and they never failed to disappoint us. So, I am just going to be a little patient and let this new
organization and coaching staff prove to us they are for real and show us all of the hype we are
seeing isn't just hype like years before. But I am feeling a little more optimistic looking forward
to this next season. Sometimes that anticipation is what makes you keep looking forward.

Developing Jayden should be paramount...with that said...the way to do this being a power run team from the spread formations both Gun and Pistol and old school 2 back formations...insulating him by running the RPO's....zone read....and play action.....like we can be a juggernaut because of that makes defensive schemes play 11vs11...big advantage to us...because we have a unicorn (Sinnot) .....even tho he's a rookie he should be the tip of the spear of our offense.....he should play 80% of the snaps...at FB/H-Back/"Move TE"....in line TE...and RB...and WR....he can do it all....running it more than passing it helps tremendously...everyone is worried about the line....but honestly playing big boy football will improve the team because of the toughness and physicality it demands up front along the line....until we get our franchise LT....we should be a run first offense...I'm optimistic but i don't trust Kliff...he could be a pass happy fool like our last OC....just saying.
I agree, and I think Luke McCaffrey replaces Samuel just fine in the slot.
Go look at Tyler Murray's run/pass split his rookie year. Pass happy will not be an issue. And hard no on the RPOs

Feels like most of them are playing it safe. Ranking us low ish but giving us high praise just in case they end up being better. Feels a bit like cheating to me but whatever
The only way I can understand Pete Prisco ranking our draft as his only A+ and a really good overall offseason ranking with a team ranking below the Patriots is just because of the unknowns of so little consistency from last year. Some people give that *a lot* more stock than most and my guess is that Prisco is one of them.
They think we’ll be good but they scared to say it out loud basically nobody wanna put they stamp on it

Great job Rico!!! I need to see us in these joint practices. Too many changes and unknowns for me to predict right now. I do see this as a better team with better coaching than last year but timing is everything. I don’t know when it’s gonna all come together.

I don't blame prognasticators ranking us fairly low. They bought into JDR's defenses being top 5-10 and we stunk, they bought into Howell being good based off of last game of '22 against Dallas, and they bought into EB being better than ST, and it all bit them. So even though there are other teams starting rookie QBs, we are automatically below them. We made our LB crew a strength, our Safeties are better than last year, the interior dline is actually better now, slot CB fixed, new coaches including coaches that turned around Dallas' defense, and we will be doing a better job with the RBs this year, McCaffrey is fine (I think better) as replacement for Samuel, but because we didn't get a first round LT or sign an injured-prone vet, we are doomed. I know we need a starting CB, but with all the Safeties, why couldn't Martin, Butler, or Chinn be a starting corner? We could move Sainristil outside and put Martin or Chinn in the slot.

I would love to see us split the division, probably split Dallas and beat NY twice, is not beyond the realm. No lie, this is a tough schedule, but actually not as bad as last year. 8-9, 9-8 is possible, but I just want to see competitive each week and not going through the motions. Still have a chance to win starting 4Q.

We are missing pieces in the secondary and on the oline. Receivers have questions, and none of the players have bonded on the field. I love where we're going, but I can't be too hopeful for year one unless Dallas and Philadelphia fall apart, which is possible.

One of the most important aspects is that we have one of or if not the best coaching staff in the league, which is very important. So you're telling us after all this, and we're not better than Ron Rivera crew and team 🤔🤔🤔 wow... they could've at least been more optimistic on that fact alone. Sometimes, listening to the opinions of these guys can be asinine on my part. AI has more common sense than these guys
