I empathize and understand the nuance and complications of victims ousting their abusers from their powerful positions and that often, many wait and don’t have tangible proof.
It’s quite normal for sa victims to wait as long as 50 years before coming forward. People really forget the psychological breakdown and denial such events have on people.
However, I feel stumped at Caiti and her wobbly story, her approach, how her story changes. I have no doubt that she’s a very sheltered and sensitive girl and she is emotionally affected. That what happened was something out of bounds and something she wasn’t ready for.
But we have to acknowledge when emotions are irrational, while still being understanding that a person is in distress.
Sa is such a covert and disorienting thing. If someone is a repeat offender they know the steps to avoid any proof being gathered about them. It’s why most predators get nabbed only by confession through tapped phones or recordings. Police are negligent and leave grape kits in storage units and It’s such a tough thing to pin down.

She's realized nothing will come from this. She lied and contradicted herself so many times, and she likely didn't expect GeorgeNotFound to be able to articulate his point of view so well. I doubt she is considering legal action as there is no chance of a case against him. She is likely coming to terms with her cancellation attempt not going her way and has decided to scrub all mention of the claims to try and save her career. She will return and never acknowledge the situation, and perma bans anyone who asks about it in her chat. That's what happens when there are no repercussions for false allegations. It will continue to happen because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
This is pretty much the only take I've seen be an actual possibilty- because either way it doesnt matter who files a lawsuit against eachother, if George files it against her he will have evidence and claims of her lying on multiple accounts, but if shes the one doing it against him it wouldnt really make a difference seeing how much information and evidence he has to defend himself. Overall though I do agree that maybe she has deleted the vods about the situation to move on- Im still a little confused on why she went private on all her accounts though.

If she DOES take legal action, then that would just be more inconsistencies and contradiction, as she literally said in her final response that she doesn't believe in legal action. "There will be no justice" remember? Also she told the person who asked her to take legal action f them, so yeah even though it is possibly, I doubt she's the one who is taking legal action here, if there is any.

I don't see him doing that. Despite everything he still tried to remain respectful (who knows, maybe that's faking though) and I don't think there's any concrete way to prove he didn't do it. If either pursued legal action, all that'd happen is they'd waste thousands on legal expenses and it'd be inconclusive.

@@bigshot9514 A defamation lawsuit wouldn't be looking if he did it or not technically. It would just be looking at if Caiti knowingly made a false claim to try and destroy him. Plus he'd have to prove it damaged him in some way. Ofc we don't know if he did it, but we do have lots of switching of words, new things being added onto old things so tbh I think he'd have a case proving she was lying. Now could he prove she was lying with malicious intent and that it hurt him? Idk

I wish the best to George, such thing really can take a hit on a mens confidence. Like I remember when i was thinking me and a girl had something going and i put my hand on her leg (like relatively low on the side, nothing really sexual) and she was basically telling me off instantly and that really made me insecure for a while. Now imagine if you thought everyone was having a great time, she kept flirting with you after for a while and a year down the line she says you assaulted her.. Thats gotta fuck with your mind.

Yooo. 1st amendment here. The first amendment doesn't protect someone from the consequences of lying about someone with the intent to injure the victim. First, she lied about SA. Second, she ruined George's life in the process. Third, has hurt past, current, and future SA victims from getting actual support and actual help from people and the law.
i don’t think georgenotfounds life was necessarily ruined, as he still has a lot of the media and likely some friends on his side, as well as his wealth. i agree with the first and third ones though.

@@Nabo42 yep, although the chances of either of them handling this legally are pretty low in my opinion- I feel like either one they probably communicated privately and Caiti has tooken them down, or two she probably just doesnt want to keep this situation going so she deleted everything to do with it. Tbh I agree he does need lawyer up- we dont know for sure if he has intentions on doing so nor why Caiti deleted everything and went private on allsocials. After everything thats happened it would be refreshing to hear that he's taking legal action.
Well, he apologized for making her uncomfortable (which is ironic because she had many chances to get out of the situation but she opted to put herself back into the situation) but George NEVER said he SA'ed, he never accepted being called a sexual abuser, there is a big difference. However, she continued with so many inconsistencies until the last moment and added a new accusation "He touched my tits" which makes it much more serious.

They should have done that (or at least Caiti) in the first place. I know they know damn well what happens when you bring these situations to the internet. Look what happened with Dream. False accusations that were made against him and even with clear evidence that he didn’t do it, he is still only known from that.
It's entirely possible for Georgeisnotfound to have obtained legal representation since what Caiti did was borderline defamation per se. If George can show damages while demonstrating that Caiti and her friends deliberately misconstrued how the evening went in order to cause those damages, we might be looking at another Amber Heard situation (though on a much smaller scale). I'm hoping he sues her into oblivion.
Yeah I think there is no chance he'd win but a lawyer would likely tell her to take it down anyway because she doesn't want to pay someone to defend her which would be very costly.

Not only can he afford good representation I think discovery would find conversations between Caiti and her friends where they talked about reframing the story to make George sound as bad as possible, maybe even rough drafts of her initial statement. It's a big if, but if that happened I think he'd win.

This is why you always talk to lawers and therapists first. Because she had no case, as nothing he did was illigal, or even illogical. They were both flirting, cuddling, and recipricating the effection. He had no signs she was uncomfortable to correct any possable discomfort. And putting your arm around someone you have been cuddling for an hour is more than unreasonable.
In all liklyhood, she finally actually talked to a lawer to told her all of that and that she needs to fix it, and fast.

If Caiti was smart she wouldn’t sue, here’s why:
1.) Caiti DID comment a crime. As seen with Nicholas Cantu, the voice actor of Gumball, who was 20 and drunk was almost arrested for being underage intoxicated. In the US (where it took place) 21 is the legal age where you won’t get in trouble if found drunk outside of your home. The likely chance that she be convicted of that as a.) she was 18 and b.) not at home with her guardians is more than likely since it was committed BEFORE the incident.
2.) EVERYTHING WILL BE ANALYZED. Caiti’s streams will be analyzed by a professional who probably can tell if she is lying, her phone might be considered as evidence, and she can’t go back and “correct” it like social media
3.) Her and her witnesses can’t keep a straight story. Now people who don’t remember things may change things slightly like a dress color however with Caitis case “Paralyzed with fear” vs “Relaxed” are two very different things while George and his witnesses are fairly consistent.
George would be taken seriously for defamation case while Caiti would likely be laughed out of court.
(Ps I am not a professional this is just my guess)

It might be due to legal action tho i couldn't see it being her suing Goerge. she has be caught in multiple lies and that alone would probably screw with her case. From her saying in her initial statement that she was scared and could hardly breath only for screenshot of dms saying she was "chilling" at the time. To her going from "he touched me out of nowhere" to "we were cuddling and spooning for an hour" (only after Goerge mentioned the cuddling". Heck she even faked a text from a friend than when Goerge called the friend and confirmed it wasn't from him she said she got the person who sent the text confused. Despite her editing the name and number out of the screenshot? she gets caught in a lie so often than changes her story to save face. I'm pretty sure a court would conclude she if full of it.
you also have one of her friends - rue - going crazy on tiktok comments a few days before about how dream was an enabler (and liking a comment that not only implied she believed dream was a groomer, but also denying his own experiences as a victim of domestic abuse which is pretty ironic) and totally knew what george was doing, when ghostie's own texts with dream about that night when dream was being falsely accused of assault by that averageharry guy proved he had no idea what was going on.
I also want to say that Caiti herself siad something along the lines of her in that exact moment of knlwing that it wasnt just a friendly hangout anymore amd that it was something much more malicious- but then proceeded to message and try to meet up with him months after?- also how is she gonna say that she was frozen and couldnt breath in the moment when she literally got up and walked back multiple times- im just confused on why this girl still tried having mutual contact with this guy after coming to those types of conclusions.
We should believe accusers (even if it’s temporary), but hold our tongues until there is actual evidence. Therefore we have a higher chance of supporting actual victims while not jumping to conclusions about the accused. Innocent until proven, so this way no one gets hurt right?

Crazy defamation case, she’s going to be paying for his bodyguards for the rest of his life. Luckily he has the resources to fight back, crazy to ruin a dude’s life because of her own delusions. I mean we already knew she lied out of her ass from her statements and the contradictions. Not to mention she changed those statements as well. Like either one of the statements was a lie. Just to give 1 example she said that george was following her to the elevator like some kinda stalker. When in reality George was the guy going to the elevator as his room was on a different level and caitis room was on the same level they were before.
She called all those thing minor details and whatnot, but I think those things matter a lot. If you lie about these things, why would I believe that he somehow SAed you in front of your friends with nobody even noticing you felt the slightest bit uncomfortable, especially given she texted and flirted with him for another month after?
