@@jimosullivan1389 I ordered my prescription online for the 3rd time ever a few days ago...
After having my last doctors appointment cancelled, and...
My last blood test rearranged 3 times (once because they claimed it wasn't an appointment, even though it clearly was as I had the same letter that they had sat in the back for 2 weeks, and the second time because they texted me the wrong day, which they'll no doubt have on my records as my mistake, rather than theirs).
This time, I ordered specific amounts, as...
The first time I ordered I was missing just less than 2 weeks worth of one set of tablets (which I'm supposed to take on the same day every week).
The second time I ordered I was only given the missing tablets, half of which needed to have been taken a couple of days earlier, plus it wouldn't let me order anymore online until the 2nd of May.
Today I turned up to collect my tablets, where I'm supposed to have the exact same amount of each, and take 6 of each every week (tablet one one day a week, and tablet two six days a week) yet after today I will have:
0 of tablet one (which is why I ordered 36).
12 of tablet two (which is why I ordered 30).
      What did they give me?
0 of tablet one (I now have 0).
28 of tablet two (I now have 40).
I asked at reception, as I was told to do by the pharmacist, and they looked confused, but checked anyway.
Apparently they're "under review" whatever that means, but some mystery doctor has seen my request online, and has ordered me some, which might be ready for Tuesday next week.
Last week I also asked the receptionists about signing up to a third way of doing medical related things online, which their own website says, tell the receptionists inside the surgery, before you can sign up.
So I do that, and the receptionists claim they can't sign me up, as their systems are being upgraded, and moved about (it's clearly been going on for months).
This isn't just any old doctors surgery, it's a famous doctors surgery which has been the star of a TV series in the last few years, and contains a famous TV doctor, yet since 2004 it's gone downhill.

@chuck 8094 I also got sent a Covid testing box containing 38 pieces (enough for 7 tests by the look of it) a few days ago for no reason...
And a couple of months ago I got sent 3 identical medical questionnaires in the space of a week.
      Now they...
1 - Won't let you turn up without an appointment anymore.
2 - They won't let you turn up and book an appointment at the reception anymore.
3 - There's never any appointments available online for at least a month every single time. Plus not everyone has the internet.
4 - They now insist that you ring to book an appointment over the phone, yet not everyone has a phone...
Plus they never used to answer the phone anyway until after they had given away all the days appointments to people who had just turned up, and I'm not convinced there will be any appointments available even if they do answer the phone.
It doesn't make any sense to me, as they have between 42 and 48 seats (I counted), yet no matter what time of day I go, the place is practically empty (with at least 32-40 empty seats), so why can I never get an appointment?

If the police cannot give you a form straight away then they should get some brought out to them so you leave with it. It should be an offence to not give you a stop and search form at the time of the search. To make you wait like this should be added to the complaint against them and duly compensated for the wait that they caused.

I think the law is something "must have access to and told how to access..." rather than "must be provided immediately upon search"
Most forces will still have some forms on them but alot are going paperless, as the majority of searches provide no positive result for the police

    • @Nickle314

@@robertroberts3rd265 I did google that. However I'd still be insisting on there and then. The reason is that it prevents them changing the reason. For example if they used section 44 of the terror act, you really do need that there and then. You certainly need for them to record that in their note books, for you to sign their note books to say that section 44 was used.
That way, no sneaking we made an irrelevant error we really used section 43.
