This is based on a real-life story, much publicized a few years earlier, in which a hypnotized woman claimed she was a dead Irish woman named Bridey Murphy.
Really?!
@@Cobbmtngirl Yes, really. A book was written about this hypnotized woman, and there was also a low-budget movie too. I think someone subsequently did some research on whether a real Bridey Murphy ever existed and I don't remember if anything concrete was found.
Today is October 1 2021 at one-thirty in the morning ... as I write this comment, I am literally watching this episode on Me TV ... that's uncanny, it was exactly six months ago to the day that I made the same comment ... on April 1 2021 ...
The father of Dennis the Menace got the car for her. One question. With the hypnotist dead while she was "under" how did she become no longer under his spell?
Good question!!!
@@deby5983 Poetic licence I guess. I wondered that too. Also, if she was oblivious to the other people around her, as stated, how did she pick her husband out to stab him in the back?
Why? Do you think people are hypnotized forever?
I FIND MYSELF WATCHING THIS SHOW AGAIN FIRST TIME WAS WITH MY MOTHER CUZ SHE LOVED WATCHING THESE SHOWS NOW I WATCH THEM BY MYSELF THANKS FOR SHARING THE VIDEO 👍🇺🇸👋

Me 2.
Today is June 24th 2022 and it's exactly 1254 A.M. here in Honduras and as I am replying to U , I was watching this episode in my cellular. Greetings from Tegucigalpa Honduras. C.A.
Who gives a toss!
The only problem that I have with this is that if the hypnotist is the one to put her under the spell, who was going to remove it? I am surprised that nobody ask that question. I would of known she was guilty if she came out of the hypnosis.
Why? Do you think people are hypnotized forever?
That Ending is Great ... Phyllis really Nails that Ending ... Would'st Not Thee Like To Know ... She delivers it perfectly ...

i just LOVE the ending of this one.
Indubidubly 🙂
Thanks, Alfred. 👏👏👏
Although I prefer the longer versions, this is well edited….
I think that she planned it all and was just pretending to be hypnotized.
now even i am 74 years of age...i feel shock...that is why i love older movies very much because they are real...but this kind of truth no good to kids..and my mother always think children are blind...am i
Indubidubly 🙂
The actress is thaxter.
Phyllis Thaxter she reminds me of the actress Theresa Wright.
@@js5787 Thx I couldn't be sure of her 1st name. She reminds me of Kim Hunter.
Very well conceived and written.
Pruning shears! Same murder weapon as on The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. I might have known! 🙂
They Let her go out on public ??? WTF ???
Who can look at a flashlight shining in your eye without so much as a blink?! Quite the actress!
Thanks for the upload!
Hypnosis in the courtroom? Too rediculous
Yep! A most ridiculous court room scenario.
Why? Hypnosis is real.
@@eseoraka Why? Hypnosis is real.
She went on to be a serial killer
Yes
The hypnotist should had a insurance policy. He should had the truth hid away.
Awesome!!!!!
Tv Lassie's mom 😉
How did killing another man get her exonerated from the first murder?
The 2nd "killing" did not exonerate her, His Expert testimony did - he stated she is not responsible for what she does under hypnosis.
when i was a little girl ...i never watch this kind of movie
a strange movie
