Holy Shite !!! That was so strenuous ! Both of you are Forest Fairies the way you were flying around. I would have broken SOMETHING when landing on the ground from the zip line. crumple. Also, I hope you two realize what an amazing job you really do with these videos. Not everyone with a camera, drone or go-pro can get results like this and then edit it !! Bravo !! Thanks for the look and the fun. Well done Ladies, I'm very impressed !!
This reminds me so much of when I was growing up. We used to build obstacle courses with the other neighborhood kids and have competitions. Glad the two of you had a great time. 🤗💛
You have to be 10 to go on most go ape courses and I remember being so excited for my 10th birthday when I was finally able to go! It looks like you had lots of fun 😊
I'm so terrified of heights that Go Ape seems like my idea of hell but you two looked like you had a wonderful time (even if it was followed by a solid 24 hours of rest) :)
Claudia didn't realise she had a 'height issue' until we got in the air but moving through the trees actually helped her a lot... but, yes, if you have a problem with it already then definitely not a fun day out for you! 😅
Those climbing parts (that's what they're called in german) are so cool! I'm glad the two of you had fun and I hope it was worth the 24h break afterwards. i haven't been climbing for a while but watching this I should definitely do it again!
This looks like soooo much fun! I know that I could never do it with my disabilities, but I was able to enjoy myself vicariously through your video and that makes me Happy! 😊 This is just a guess on my part but the zip lining could be more expensive due to insurance cost.
I'm so glad you could enjoy experience it by proxy! It was a struggle but I'm very proud for having done it. Good point about the zip lining- I'm sure there are generally a lot of sore bottoms to account for! 🙊
Jessica: "It's a good thing I'm not scared of heights!" Me, a person who is... mildly terrified of heights: "HAHAHA FUNNY - I'm shaking and I'm just watching a video of this..."
I love these types of things. We went to one a couple years ago for my mom's 48th birthday. Of course though living in Florida one of the obstacles involved zip lining over an alligator pit.
this is such a great date ideaaaaa. *steals it for future use* peh-heh also singing the Indiana Jones theme song is a MUST. like you just GOTTA. what a fun video, I'm going to look for places around me that have something similar ^_^
I wonder how much different this experience would be now after you've gained arm strength from carrying Rupert. Would all the ladders be faster and less painful? Would you need less recovery time? If you ever find a tree top experience that you could do with Rupert you totally should!
It was such a good time! I love, love, loved it! Fortunately the Lake District isn't too pricey when it comes to holidays and GoApe is pretty well priced since it has lots of different levels so different prices- although I really don't understand why just the zipwire one is the most expensive! Thank goodness we didn't do that one or I would have landed on my arse even more!!! 😅😂
Jessica Kellgren-Hayes haha I meant more physically lovely, not too much fatigue and pain! Defo good to know though, I'm always looking for places to go with my dog, soon to be dogs! Hoping my older dog will learn to share like Walter had to! So excited! xxx
Ha ha, oh silly me! Physically it was pretty punishing but so worth it for the feeling of flying through the trees. Grizedale Forest has some really great dog walks and you don't have to keep them on leads since there aren't any farm animals around. Walter definitely resented Tilly for the first 6 weeks so don't worry if your dogs do that but they are sure to become best of friends afterwards! x
Jessica Kellgren-Hayes sounds perfect! Leaving Cornwall today after an amazing holiday with lots of doggy beach walks! can't believe how much more dog friendly it is here compared to my native Scotland! thanks Jessica, I'll not panic if my dog doesn't love the puppy straight away! have a lovely day lovely lady xx
Loved seeing this! As a Go Ape instructor (not at Grizedale!), always love seeing people enjoying themselves! 🐵☺️ nice surprise when I was already binge watching your channel! You should try it at Cannock next 😉
OMG! I have just been to a place like this with a few hundred kids (school trip to the lakes). Needless to say pretending I wasn't scared while dealing with the scared children was the biggest challenge.
I was reminiscing about go ape and so googled it to see if i could find any videos from the one i went to - never knew you'd done one so obviously had to watch this Some of the go apes have far less walking in between the sections - I went to one in the Forest of Dean a few years back and we spent barely any time on the ground at all - the last zip wire was shockingly high though, the trees were so far below....
We have one of these in my city, I did it once like 10 years ago and took like double the time it normally takes to do it because I am so terrified of heights (in retrospect I have no idea why I thought it was a good idea to do), like I was getting vertigo just watching this and it was making me anxious, my brain and heights is just super weird.
That looks like so much fun, too bad that idea would never work like that in the US, no one would ever trust people to handle thier own fall protection for something like that, they'd have to have someone stationed at every transfer to be sure it's done right.
I'm suddenly very glad I didn't go to the ropes course in school. Here I opted out of it because in the trust exercise we did before hand the kids broke form so I would fall and I didn't trust them enough to do it in a height. But seeing this video I have to say the height scared the crap out of me and it was just a video.
Is there any way to do this without singing Indiana Jonesesque songs?! (I think not!!) I think I'm going to have to look for something like this in my area though! I'm a little afraid of heights, but this looks too fun to resist.
Jessica Kellgren-Hayes In my defence, it was her own stupid fault. She was ahead of me on one of those seat things and afterwards I started pulling the seat back towards me, not realising she was still holding onto it. Only she wasn't following the rules and had unclipped both clips at once, so she nearly fell to her doom 😰
"Sorry...adventurers can still be pretty" haha yaaas love you both :D
ha ha ha, hair flowers make everything awesome! 🌺
Haha :-D Yeeeahh ! You are so cute, Jessica. ;)
That was very impressive! I was scared out of mind just watching. Clearly, I don't like heights. But, the view was beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
You're so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it x

Well done Ladies, I'm very impressed !!
I'm living vicariously through you guys lol I'm terrified of heights. I could neverrr do this
Oh my gosh, well done for watching the video then! Lots of scary scenes... 🙈
My too! Hate heights so had to keep stopping and starting the video! lol
Oh dear! I hope you managed to enjoy it anyway? x
This reminds me so much of when I was growing up. We used to build obstacle courses with the other neighborhood kids and have competitions. Glad the two of you had a great time. 🤗💛
Wow, I'm hoping you weren't so high up in the trees though?! 😅 It was a really great day! x
haha, nothing that high or elaborate. Mainly between trees, garages and swing sets.
TROUSERS! 😱
I know! 🙈
You have to be 10 to go on most go ape courses and I remember being so excited for my 10th birthday when I was finally able to go! It looks like you had lots of fun 😊
Ha ha, my brother was the same way- I think he may have even counted down the days! x
"Adventurers can still be pretty." The British Lady, is alive and in style! ;-)
I'm so terrified of heights that Go Ape seems like my idea of hell but you two looked like you had a wonderful time (even if it was followed by a solid 24 hours of rest) :)

Yeah, nah. Kudos to you both for going up there and then doing all that though, bloody awesome.
haha, thank you! x

I was super exhausted for days, but it was so worth it :) I think go-ape is only available in the UK but maybe they have a similar thing in Germany? x
4:35 wow that one is fun, I agree! Thanks for taking us with you on that trip through the woods and heights. Lovely!
I'm addicted to those ropes courses.
understandably! They're amazing! Can't wait to go again 🌟

i'm watching this even though i'm afraid of heights because i'm very gay and have been bingewatching this channel for the past few days
“Ah, sorry, adventures can still be pretty.” 😂🤣💕
um....not going to lie that looked like so much fun 😁 and then when you finished I felt super tired and I didn't do anything 😂
It was exhausting... but so fun!!
Oh my goodness that looks amazing!
It was so good! Aside from hitting my arse far too many times... 😏
Jessica Kellgren-Hayes you're very brave! I don't know if I'd have the mettle!
Jessica.... I am very proud of you. You did an amazing job!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You both are so awesome, it's amazing to watch your adventures!
Thank you! ❤
OH MY GOSH! I can believe you did all that, Jessica ~ you are fearless!! You too Claudia! 🎉

Omg. I’m scared to death of heights. Was giving me vertigo just watching. Way to go babes!!!
Kudos to you both because I can never do this...I have a fear of heights. LOL
I live in staffordshire and we have a go ape by us too!! Didn't realize there were more x
That looks like So Much Fun!!! I want to find a park like that!

You too! Hope you've had a fab holiday xx
I love your videos very uplifting 😊
my mom's boyfriemd works at one of these. It's sooo much fun!
That's so exciting! Do you get to go all the time? x
wooooow that looks like so much fun!
My gosh it really was! 😍
This looks so cool one of my fav videos 👊🏾❗️
+Tracie B_Fly Hi Tracey! Glad is one of your favs, I'll try to go on more adventures!
Oh my God, i couldn't even watch the whole video because the heights make me sick! Respect for being so brave!
Omg, I went to one of those and I was trembling all the time :) My arms hurt the most afterwards :D
Loved seeing this! As a Go Ape instructor (not at Grizedale!), always love seeing people enjoying themselves! 🐵☺️ nice surprise when I was already binge watching your channel! You should try it at Cannock next 😉

you did so well Jess, good on you for giving it a go
Thank you! 💕
I'd love to do something like this!!!
Wow seems like an exciting adventure

Well done 😁
Thank you! x
I remember Go Ape twice from Explorers; the first occassion I'd rather forget while on the second time, I managed it.
YEAH!!!!! PANTS.......LOL.....😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅✌
wow ... so 😎💗
❤😊
i did this. totally naive and unprepared. was TERRIFIED
It's videos like these that make me impatient to have a wife! xx
My brothers made me do this and I cried the entire time
I am soooo going ape!
That looks like so much fun, too bad that idea would never work like that in the US, no one would ever trust people to handle thier own fall protection for something like that, they'd have to have someone stationed at every transfer to be sure it's done right.
Actually Go Ape does exist in the US too, and the only death in any Go Ape happened there unsurprisingly.
I'm suddenly very glad I didn't go to the ropes course in school. There was a genuine sense of jeopardy in this video! You are very brave to do this.
+Jenny Horner thank you! I discovered I actually love heights and especially bouncing on bridges swung between trees 😄
Next time, can I come.
Is there any way to do this without singing Indiana Jonesesque songs?! (I think not!!) I think I'm going to have to look for something like this in my area though! I'm a little afraid of heights, but this looks too fun to resist.
Duh, exactly 😉
*But how did those leggings remain so white?*
I think she willed it so. ha

Reminds me of when I nearly (accidentally!) killed my friend on one or these in France. Ahh, good times...
Oh my gosh! What happened?! 😱

This does not look safe!!
I love your videos very uplifting 😊
