This is a sad situation
Tragic in every way
Cut the intro out and get to the news
Can’t imagine not one team mate visited him this entire time. The other transfer from Arkansas had to visit him I would imagine. He was captain.
Always great reporting Matt and damn this is sad
This what happens when you get involved and try and help someone
I am not sure when Gregg Brooks filed his law suit but from the time that he filed the suit I would think that Coach Kelly could not communicate with Greg after the filing of the suit.
The Brooks family appears to be trying to monetize his malady. I’m glad Brian Kelly directly refuted their contention. LSU did not cause this condition. I really don’t see why the university should support him for the rest of his life. There are a lot of people who have similar conditions that have to take care of themselves. I’m of the opinion that is what they’re doing by trying to make LSU and the football program pay for his expenses.
When you sue someone your lawyers will tell you not to communicate with the opposing party. Also you have 105 other kids on the team, and a job to do, how often does Brooks family want him to visit? Didnt they also raise money for them, and are covering the medical bills?
If Brian Kelly or anybody from the staff didn’t reach out in 16 months that’s bad period. It ain’t nothin to pick up a phone to call and lay eyes on the young man that you claimed you loved. I’m not sayin he didn’t reach out but like Matt said if he didn’t that’s bad
Why wasn't he put into concussion protocol when he FIRST had dizzy spells?
At the end of the day, God never told anybody to play football. You play at your own risk. And if the injury had nothing to do with football, then why are we suing LSU?
Hope your kids never play a sport sheesh
I’d rather have 10 years of losing seasons. This just makes me sick.
