    I love the fact that your wife is now out digging with you. You two make a great team and you find twice the stuff. I'd love to see more team hunts. those old lighters are really cool. You should take all your bottle tops, pull tabs, funky scrap pieces etc and make a piece of art from them with an old piece of barn wood as the canvas.. I've seen some really cool pieces made from beach finds that include drift wood but I'm sure you could do the same thing with keys and pull tabs and such

    U dredged up yet another jingle from the creekbed of my mind: "If u've got the time, we've got the beer - Miller beer. Miller takes too long to hurry thru. When it's time to relax, Miller stands clear, beer after beer - if u've got the time, we've got the beer." Might not be 100% correct, but that's what my beer-soaked memory's singing now, thanx to u.

    I surely hope that you'll find at least some valuable jewelry such as rings and diamonds. I am pretty sure that you're bound to come up with something unexpected sooner or later. Good luck guys in your research. Johnny from Montreal, Canada.

    Is that a "Ruff shod " shoe ? They have tangs off the bottom for working in mud and not stable ground. Likely a Lead tooth paste case. 'They' stopped using lead once found out. That bracket at 15:xx is likely a bathroom / kitchen water handle. Cool that both of you are detecting. The finger brush would be handy hunting muddy things.

    I've found about 6 Zippo lighters and gave them to my potential son-in-law as gifts as the land I get them from belongs to my daughter. I keep the off brands such as Camel and others. I can't remember whether it is the Japanese or the Chinese who LOVE Zippo lighters.?
    I don't share a lot of stuff with her because our likes are in different areas. And she has had that land for 15 years and has never dug an inch if it. If I find duplicates of stuff, I'll giver her one - such as old whiskey and different alcohol bottles.
    I would like some pretty rocks from there to add to my mom's rock garden. Address will be available soon. On my 20th bracelet and 5 amulets.
    Keep on trucking on this channel.!!
    I know the answer but forgot the question. My Fibromyalgia is being out of control this month. Brain Fog- NOT Alzheimer's. LOL

    • @CaptainCocktale
      @CaptainCocktale 6 років тому +1

      betty kuykendall I totally feel you on the brain fog. But I still love to get out and dog in the dirt on days when my fibro pain is manageable. It sounds like you are finding some good stuff on your daughters land. I've barely made a dent in the property our new house is on. All I keep finding is old building materials and farm equipment parts. I'm hoping to find some horse shoes or horse tack pieces since our properth was a horse ranch before it was sold, divided up and houses were built on it

    Yes, how's your Dad doing? You said that he wasn't feeling well and you seemed concerned so, if course, we're all concerned too.
    And those gyros (or yee-ros) looked amazing. I used to work at a Greek restaurant in college on River Street in Savannah, GA and we were able to have a meal each time we worked. I found all kinds of food that l never would have even tried. Some good stuff! My favorite is pasticio. It's like a Greek lasagna.
    P.S.- I can't believe you found a golf ball!

      I used pro zero and iron disc at 44 bc there are a bazzilion nails and there was a home in that tree lot that was demolished. Then dozers came in and graded it, so piles of trash got buried. The coin mode is fun on beaches, I like the little bell. On home sites that are still standing, don't run the iron disc so high and you can find cool iron things at times. Any high tone that hits a 99 is usually iron.
