Before watching this video, I thought that BKT was a local cheap company. But now, I have respect for BKT as well.
I watch monster jam and thought it's a foreign brand.
Lagta hai aap share market follow nahi karte
Apollo tyers kharidlo life me settled ho jaoge aap 100 share khardlo life bann jayegi 22 billion koi chhota number nahi hai Yaar
Same here
😆 kyabaat kr raha hai bhai bkt ke type subse best quality or costly hote hai, quality mai BKT , MRF se bhi achchi h
Fun fact: MRF has the most costly share price in whole india
Does MRF has international market like BKT ?
i guess its mostly because of the less volume(shares available in market)
plz correct me if im wrong

I have used Apollo Alnac soft compound tires on my previous car and found them to be of very good quality and low noise. Later I switched to Yokohama Blue-earth tires. I found Apollo and the Yokohama to be at par with each other. Currently running on a factory fitted MRF tire on my Nexon. Being an EV its a row rolling resistence tire and hence I find the grip to be a bit less on the curves. My ather runs on the factory fitted MRF zappers on the front and the rear has been changed to JK tyre.
I have an Altroz. They came with factory fitted Goodyear. I was planning to get Yokohama for it but after watching this, I'm planning to get Apollo and go Desi. What would you recommend?
@@mazpeterslove , I had a good experience with Apollo. It was on the Ford Fiesta. Later I switched to Yokohama Blue-earth just to try it out. I found Apollo to be at par with the Yokohama's with respect to ride and road noise. Both were soft compound tires. See if you get any user reviews of owners using Apollos on Altroz and then make a call. Are you planning to go for soft compund tires or hard?
@@shas312 I love the control on the road with soft compound tyres on my Altroz. It's addictive but I think I will burn through em because I take long trips every month so... Hard it is.

This was one good enlightening video. Usually focus is on vehicles but tires were oblivious. What a success story and their contribution to Bharat's economy. Thank you for bringing this video.👍
I watch all your videos, thanks for such deep analysis, I am a very big petrol head and fortunately I own a pre owned 2008 model sx4 vxi and I love my car, as it lacks abs and all other safety featurs, so getting a good tyre is very necessary for safety and I found a perfect match for me few years ago.
Yokohana blue earth gt ae 51, I can swear on this tyre, perfect road tyre, better dry and wet grip than micheline and very less road noise, it's expensive but worthit.

I worked with BKT Tyres as a Rubber Technologist. Recently they faced a massive challenge in Research & Development. As the tyres those have been made aren't running for too long. I think BKT will solve this very quickly. Before joining into BKT, I also thought that BKT won't be a big company. But I was wrong.

One thing to note is that even though tires may themselves not be exported, the cars they are put on locally might which might not factor into the calculations for export statistics.

Very Informative and detailed video! Great work
Very interesting video, please make more videos with such topics. Appreciation from my side
I have a Yamaha FZS. It came factory fitted with Ceat zoom tyres. Good cornering grip but it tends to lose grip on wet surfaces or gravel surfaces. Switched to MRF Revz few months ago and it is objectively a better tyre (grip as good as ceat on dry roads and much grippier on bad and wet roads).
Michelin is also a great manufacturer
One important thing the Indian companies did was to have Western-sounding names. Otherwise, they would never have sold in Europe.
when i was watching that particular event i was thinking that why Indians don't ise their own tyres??? And today you are making a video on it👌👌👌
Good work. More power to you..

Can you make a video about the upcoming manufacturers in india like mistubishi, ford, fisker and many others and tell us about how our taxation system work and resist to come any new manufacturers in india
I have been using bkt for my commercial vehicles and I found the quality best amongst others
Great analysis and details are top notch. The reason people prefer [ consider] foreign brands as better is because of the quality. The Indian companies are big and certainly have the caliber to produce good quality tires but the quality they provide to us vs the quality of the products they export are quite different. Same goes with other products whether it's is 650 twins from royal Enfield which has multiple quality control points for an export product compared to their Indian counterparts. Also, same goes for the cars. Like Kia Seltos which has HSS in it's chassis as compared to the Indian made chassis [ This was highlighted in one of your videos as well]
The reason : India being a price sensitive market. But not everything is bad. Apollo H1 tires for bikes within 400 cc are certainly a good option although Metzelers are in a different league altogether.
Superb content as always ❤
Bro your videos are genuinely informative n structured with lots of research.. hope you grow n stay inspirational for automotive enthusiasts like us.. bro i envy you..

Apollo has always been my favourite. From Amazer 3G to now Alnac 4GS, they offer really good quality.
I'm an investor in all tire companies except MRF. (difficult to average coz of share price, but good for swings) BKT being my top pick.
I have completed several projects on Off The Road Tyre Market in South America and Asia Pacific. In these regions, JK tyre, CEAT and BKT are very common in mining and construction industries.
Excellent informative video 👍👍👍
I have MRF tyres in my 3 bikes and Goodyear tyre in car. I'm planning to upgrade my car tyres to MRF cause they are reliable and good tyres.

Would appreciate if you could make a video about how our brands compare with each other like OEMs they are tied with, performance etc. and also against foreign brands.
Yokohama Earth. Grip, comfort and strength ticks all boxes. Before I used JK. They too were good but got cracks early.
Biturbo media your analysis is on point so good really appreciate your efforts I invested in BKT (BalKrishna Inds) in 2016 at around 350-400 next 2017 at around 600 2020 again at around at 700 now it has reached a all time high of 2700+ long wait but reliable and consistent growth

As usual, you have made a quite an informative video. I was expecting that you might devote some time on the issue of recycling of tires. Because dumped and unusable tires are cause of major concern for many countries. In India, we do retreading but it also has its limits. Retreading of tire could only be done if the sidewalls of a tire hasn't thinned out considerably. Anyway, hoping to see you create some informative video on this topic......Oh, by the way, my favorite tire is Bridgestone for my car as it offers superb grip. For my bike, unfortunately, there are not many choices. So, I have to be remain happy and satisfied with whatever is available.......One more thing. Among various Indian tyre manufacturing companies, you missed to mention Ralco (I am not a fan of it but I have to remain happy with it 🤥)
Hey, thanks for your insights.
Specifically we totally forgot about ralco
At Mysore we have falcon tyres, its under lock out, our own vikrant was bought by jk tyres
I feel proud when i hear such news
