Your video is 16 min but this took me a couple hours as a first timer. My screen was much more difficult to slide in and out. Still glad I could do this myself thanks a bunch!
Great video!!! Especially for us novices. I'm having an issue with the front loader not lifting very fast and sometimes not at all. I needed this video so I can check the screen. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video, it helped. Doing my 50 hr service, and changed filter, but not the fluid (not required). I would like to check the strainer, but am afraid I’ll lose a lot of fluid. Do you know if I can check the strainer with it full of fluid?
After following your steps, im having a problem where my bucket barely lifts or doesnt lift at all, only lowers in float mode. Curling works as expected. Boom and bucket works too. The front loader worked fine before the hydraulic oil change. Any ideas?
KUBOTA FILTER KIT BX23, BX22, BX2660, BX2200 and BX2670 HH150-32094 TOP QUALITY Hello, I bought the filter change kit for the bx2380 in ibay, the diesel filters come in metal, can you explain to me if they replace the plastics, I just bought the tractor and I don't know many things. Thank you
So when you did your 50 hour you changed only the hydraulic filter and then just topped off what ran out of the filter with the same fluid correct. I have already completed my 50 hour oil and filter change.
I actually drained all the fluid and switched to super udt2 because I'm anal. Way overkill for what the service manual calls for. Just peace of mind for me
Do you need to remove the mowing deck for the hydraulic oil & filter change or can you work around it? Also for an oil change? I’m nearing my 50hr service and don’t want to take the mowing deck off if it’s not necessary. Great video!
@@Chip59 im glad to know im not the only anal one haha. Ive changed engine oil like 4 times now haha trans fluid isnt due until 400hrs. But i do work it hard. I can not lie about that!
Ever have any issues with leaks around the rear end. I had a bad leak at 25 hours, still under warranty too, so I took to the dealer. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue.
Thankfully I have not however the quick attach for the loader did start leaking to the point they replaced under warranty. And just as my luck works just today I see it's leaking again. Will have to clean it up and see if it persists.
@@Tyler_Koehn I've got a BX23S with quick coupler leaking but am just out of warranty so wondering what you ended doing about yours? I've seen where some have gotten rid of the quick coupler and gone to individual flat face couplings.
@@mitrekab833 Unfortunately I still haven't done anything to resolve it since this most recent time. Just a small weeping qt this point. When I get some time I'll have to look at it and see if it's something easy. Warranty replaced everything the first time which seems kind of overkill if there are no cracks in the manifolds but they didn't get into specifics with me.
Nice series of videos, very helpful guidance for those of us performing the service for the first time.
You're welcome! Thanks for your comment!

Glad it worked out for you bud! Always nice being able to diy vs pay the dealer a arm and a leg!

Hopefully cleaning it will solve your problem. Thanks for watching bud!
Great video for guys who are handy and work on their own equipment. . .
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done video Tyler!! Enjoyed the watch! Have a great week!!
Thanks John, You too!
Well explaine video Tyler. Weird how the mechanic under BX23S look like the GC1710
Thanks buddy, haha prolly the same machine lol
Good information thanks from Queensland Australia.
Thanks Jonathan! I want to visit Australia at some point! Other bx vids on my channel should you want to check them out and subscribe!

Your welcome James! I think that it would drain the fluid if you pulled the strainer. But don't quote me on that. I think the filter is the big one!

I can't think or anything off the top of my head, did you figure it out yet?

I had to replace a fuel filter on mine and it was plastic like the factory so I'm not sure. Is it oem or aftermarket?
Thanks for your time explaining it

Hello Hagan, It "might" be able to be done but the hassle would far outweigh the 10 mins to remove the deck. Just my opinion. Thanks for tuning in.
Would this be the time to change the front diff fluid also?
Affirmative bud! Spoiler alert haha - video to come on that!
Nice job showing everything ! How many hours on the machine when you replaced the Hy Fluid ?
Hey Patrick, I did mine at 200hrs because I'm anal and hard on equipment but it is spec'd to be changed at 400hrs. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Your screen was quite dirty....how many hours since the previous cleaning ?
Thanks Chip! Yea it was! This was my initial cleaning. It only has 200 hrs on it
I changed everything, hyd oil, engine oil and filters st 50hrs. My screen had a few metal particles on it, even at 50 hrs.

No problem, Brandon! Bunch of other bx vids on my channel should you want to check them out and subscribe!
Tyler should I remove that filter screen for my 50 hour service?
Technically, according to the manual not until 400hrs. At 50 hrs all you do is the filter

I had to take the skid plate off. The bolts were painted on.
They sure don't make things easy for us!
Safety note: CO is deadly. running that inside for even a few minutes puts you at risk.
Good point Kurt!
