This is what I have been preaching after spending 2.5 years studying the Bible for 8-10 hours a day. When you come from sloppy grace or religion (the law) you miss the whole message of a surrendered and transformed life (heart) one day at a time in Jesus Christ. May we not be comfortable with a single confession or religion, but may we hunger and thirst daily to walk in obedience, share the gospel and grow in our love for Jesus Christ and others. I like the clean message at this church during sermons, but this church is seriously lacking in community outreach. Jesus also calls us to help others and a church that does not do this and just focuses on its own congregation and growth makes me sad. John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give you: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples-when they see the love you have for each other” Maybe Brave’s leadership is just unaware. I like this place, but Jesus calls us to demonstrate Christian principles to everyone. Even non believers. The best way to grow the ministry of Jesus is demonstrating Christian principles. Helping the poor in the community, helping at risk kids, helping addicts, etc… “ Love thy neighbor.” Who’s my neighbor? Everyone around me suffering.
