I'm guessing you can save about $9,000 thousand from carwow and yeah you should consider buying it, the car comes with nature AC and it's a very good car to daily, I can fit my grocery with no problem at all, although the ride is a bit rough but it's still pretty comfy so yeah you should consider buying one

RB gave them a real (Old) F1 car. This merc is just a show car, it has very little (if any) parts in common with the car that'll be racing this season, i doubt it even has a PU in it.
The wavy shape to the edges generate vortices, like those on aircraft wings, to improve behaviour when the wing stalls. In this case it improves the transition between having underbody downforce at high speed and not having it going slower through tight corners and at the start grid. Underbody downforce was originally banned from F1 because the cars suddenly became projectiles if the airflow underneath got disrupted, it didn’t drop away smoothly.

Few wrong things: - these wheel covers are mandatory, not Mercedes thing. They reduce the dirty air. - over wheel winglets are not allowed, but mandatory. They are also reducing dirty air from spinning tyres. - back wing was not sole generator of dirty air as you can see. The front wing and barge boards were much bigger problem and they've changed now

I do not know if that would be possible, but I would really like to see what mileage a F1 car would have when going at 120km/h at highest gear (or most optimised for that speed.) Just to show to the world what great tech they have
@@rkxbox6433 Yes, I know, it is actually more than that as they do not refill after qualifications. But that is I think either 100 or 150lit of petrol. And they are going at full almost all the time. So wonder how it would be if they were trying to make as much distance as possible while driving at highway speed. Cooling might be a problem because I think it is made for high speeds, but I am not super expert on this.

Calling it a "B" car is inaccurate since such designation is only given to chassis that competes in a second competition year, by the teams that use such a designation anyway. Mercedes does not use the B designation, therefore it is actually completely wrong to call the Bahrain-spec W13 the "W13B". Just because the bodywork and cooling package near the chassis has changed does not mean it is a B spec car. Congratulations on embarrassing both yourself and your so-called "true F1 fans".

its not for porpoising. The issue ofporpoising seems to have been discovered in Barcelona by the teams, and this is the car that they brought to Barcelona, not the Bahrain car (which obviously is still there since the race is in a few days) so it doesnt have the fixxes for porpoising on it yet, as well as all the other changes (sidepods). You were however right that it is to seal the floor. It seales the floor and therefore prevents air from escaping sideways from under the floor forcing it thru the diffuser, improving its performance. Also, on the top side, it helps direct the tyre wake by pushing the airflow coming from the sidepod area outboard, thus pushing some of the tyre wake outboard as well.

you get an idea of the size of the car when you have Matt beside it. they're huge! I seen them in the NEC couple years back and it's hard to get an idea of scale from TV.

Hey, hi! The carbon fiber waves at the bottom, what they do, is prevent turbulence, thus, mahjong the air flow another and taster through. Turbulent flow is inevitable in some cases or some speeds, so if you mage a contrast pattern, you'll achieve linear flow. Check out the video on Turbulent Flow on the Veritasium channel! Very enlightening!
