Looks greeeaaaat!!! I get frustrated sometimes doing boulders in the machine I just want to get out and manhandle them being used of doing fieldstone for soooooo long
What type of landscape fabric do you use for a Pea stone fire pit. I’m in the middle of making one. I laid about an inch to inch and a half of pea stone down. I leveled & hand tamped, and after I build the fire pit I will lay the fabric. Then I will put down the remaining 2 inches on top. Do you use woven, non-woven or what? Thanks for the advice. Great vids
On some Jobs, I Sub Contract, Which is based off an hourly rate which includes myself, my truck and tools and my laborer(s). That number will be different for most people. But when bidding my own jobs, it is based off 4 factors. Time, Materials, Trucking and Overhead. But further than that is breaking the project down into different line items. A job like this would be broken into Excavation / Backfill, Building the wall, building the firepit and finally spreading top soil and grass seed. Each one of those line items will be broken down by time, materials, trucking and overhead.
Great work boys.👍🇺🇸

I always use woven, geotextile fabric for any hardscape install. Glad you are enjoying the videos!
What’s your bidding process like? How do you bid jobs to ensure you make a profit?
