My collection was from going to outdoor swap meets, yard sales, thrift stores, antique stores (going out of business sales), craigslist and ebay. I found an awesome collection on Craigslist last year. I bought an M8 tank, cannon, and Humvee all in original boxes and a footlocker with Gi joes and accessories for only 140.00. An antique store I frequent was going out of business. I bought 1964 Gi Joes with original uniforms for 20.00 each.
Thank you for sharing your collection. I owned some of your collection. When I was a kid. 50 years ago. Kung Fu grip can not be underestimated. It was a game changer.
OMG what a great collection ! Gijoe and me went to many adventures at the beach, in the backyard , and even in the park. It's a real shame that kids today don't have ability to use their imagination like we did , with all of these video games.
Amazing collection for just one year's worth of time. I collected actively from the late 90s to the mid 2000s and still don't have one of everything like you do. Part of it was the fact I was on a shoe string budget when it came to collecting. You have some very clean examples of some great AT sets/uniforms.
Very nice AT collection. Some very nice pieces you have acumulated in only a year. The boxed Joes look like they just came out of a shippers case. Can't wait to see these displayed with the rest of your collection.
Very impressive ....i was a 70's kid with a cool grandpa so i had so.e of these ....like the bad chopper and desert kit ....frogman (both) . Still cant find the Sea Wolf Submarine .....that worked . Favorite next to the chopper . Thanks and very nice
Very cool I have collected all the Joe lines from child hood to my late teens, when my son was born they put out the hall of fame and I rushed out and bought all of them and was shocked when I realized they put Joes head on ken lol,I began collecting the vintage again and my son grew up with joe just like me,i collect all the 12 inch lines all though it's hard to keep up with inflation and all.As hard as they try they will never top the AT line, great collection those are beautiful figures!!!!
@ Eddie, Yea, it kills me having them packed away, Ive been looking for display cases for months now with no luck. I did pick up a few ATs here and there that came with the painted heads over the years and this last year started buying ATs mainly, Thank you for the kind words.
Thank you, sounds like you are also into collecting. I have quite a few more A.T.sets added now, but still no cabinets to set them in. Later, I plan to name all of the sets and one day go over the value of each set. That should start some controversy.
This is incredible I really enjoyed watching this video thank you I hope when you get the shelves all finished and complete if there is such a thing as finished incomplete. You make more videos like this
Watch out for reproductions, 30th, 40th anniversary and others selling as vintage with vintage prices. Buy identification guides. Ask questions: is it damaged, has repair, was it made in the 60s & 70s.
I'm glad this sparks your childhood memory as it does for me. Yes, the buddah has the jewels inside it and the cobra is on the ATV they are a little hard to find, but not that rare.
Wonderful collection, got a collection of Joe's that belong to me but also my two sons grew up with the newer Joe's from the 90's. I believe all total is about 140 joes. My Joe's were MIB but trying to get all of theirs back together with all equipment or at least 90 percent, they will end up with a big collection to have after I'm done. I wished i had at least a few vehicles from the 70's anyways great collection.
The value has gone up quite a bit lately on Joes on ebay it seems to me. Hard to find the bargains like before. Though about two or three years ago I found a sea adventurer with his outfit and only mild hair rub at a goodwill.....for 99 cents!
Very nice collection, Two Black talking commanders and a Magnum power outfit very rare pieces. Also your mint in box guys look dead mint. My rarest piece is a hard hand Muscle body man of action.
I'm glad to see, I'm not the only Joe Junkie. I've found a lot Joe collectors out there, much more than I ever thought. I'm also around the mid 200s in the 64 - 76 time line. .
I really want that troubleshooter, the black gijoes, the hovercraft and the boats, I have the mobile support unit and about to get the entire mummy set
Still looking for the yellow AT Helicopter? Haven't seen it yet but bet you have it by now! I did spot a white albino Pygmy Gorilla. I've got one of those too. I recently scored a really nice Irwin (kind of brown/rust color) motorcycle with sidecar. Is your race car a 'Desimone' repro? Looks nice. I've wanted to get one of his blue Panther Jets but they're pretty pricey :) Nice review again and thanks.
Nice collection where do you find them at ? I rarely see them for sale The only thing is they are layed out as if they were in a morge and the silence validates that notion.
Awesome stuff man. I'm a collector as well (video game consoles) but appreciate the time you've taken to collect your GIJoes. Awesome stuff man. Give my channel a try when you can. Cheers!
Brilliant Fantastic a Wonderland my friend I'm one jealous limey. Whose been collecting Action Man (UK vesion of Joe ) since about 1965. I must say off and on now I'm back again, this time with a scaled down collection due to space. Keep the video's coming please it's great, to see the mass of equipment and figures THANK YOU. tanpatch88
I wanted to go but the wife said... well lets just say I couldnt make it. I did see alot of posts about it on Facebooks Group: GI Joe Adventuer Team. Looks like I missed out. Tim W. from this group set up a display, He said he had a great time doing it.
WOW, How very mind blowingly cool.. I Loved G.I.Joe when I was a kid, My dad was a skydiver and I made my G.I.Joe a Parachute way before they ever came out with one. He would take him up zipped under his chest suit and throw him out around 2000 feet after he opened his chute. I would chase him down on my Honda 50 or mini bike. That was at Skylark Para-center at Lake Elsinore Ca. When I turned 16 I made my first jump and took up the sport as well. I left off at around `150 jumps after I move and got to busy with life and work. Many great memories from those amazing days. I had people think my G.I. Joe was a real parachutist that had been seriously blown way off course, until they saw me ride up on my mini bike and snatch him out of the air. Sometimes though, his chute would not open and he took a serious free fall. I have a black GI Joe that broke his finger after falling 2000 feet. But thank God he lived to skydive again another day. My dad actually made a harness and a reserve outfit that was scaled down from the real, and he would hang him in his office in free fall position as a great conversation starter and because as a Doctor , he used to prescribe skydiving to his patients.. He called it Para Therapy. There were actual TV magazine shows that did stories on my dad because of his reputation and his larger than life way of being. His name was Dr. Champaign, maybe someone posted the show somewhere.. Wow I will have to Google it and find out.. If not, maybe I can get my VHS copy digitized and post it myself. I used to set my guys up in scenes and then photograph them . I have a few pictures that have made it through till now. Would love to share them with everyone. I will try to get them scanned and posted to my FB page. Also I have most all my original G.I.Joes from my childhood as well as more I collected over the years. I am selling some due to a health crisis I have been dealing with if anyone is interested email me at dc4sig. So I would definitely like to get TOP Dollar, But I do have some great items. I still have all my Hot Wheels, Sizzlers and all my Tracks and different sets, some still in the box, although the boxes are not mint condition, at least they survived all these years. I would have a lot more stuff, but one of my G.I.Joes got my sisters Barbie Doll Pregnant out of wedlock, and she sued him for Child support and I have not seen either of them since. .. But I can assure you lots of my guys had a great time hanging out with my sisters Barbies.. I wish I had videos of what went on between them..They would be priceless.. LOL.. My brother and I made an animated movie in Super 8 MM of the G.I.Joes capturing the Blk Gorilla.. Wow I need to find that too and get it digitized to share with all my fellow Joe Brothers.. Well to Quote a great man... Bob Hope... THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES... I REALLY ENJOYED IT.. OH Yeah, I almost forgot.. I just saw a add on Craigslist for a guy who was selling his G.I.Joe display cases, could be just what you need to get your guys out in the social scene where all can see and enjoy.. anyone interested in buying, seeing pics, or whatever send me an EMail and put JOE in the subject feild all caps.. All my best gentlemen.. God Bless.. dchampaign at yahoo dot com
Sgtlott 10 I haven’t tried it as an adult collector but if I remember correctly as a kid yes they did great floating in water but they can swamp easily.

THIS IS AWESOME! I remember playing with this stuff back in the mid 70s.
In my opinion, the 1970's Adventure team joe era is the best. Great toys with amazing artwork on the boxes
Your contributions will be much appreciated! Thank you much...Mike!

Probably the greatest overall toy line of all time, imo. Great collection for only a year. I'm a little jealous to be honest.
I'm glad to see, I'm not the only Joe Junkie. I've found a lot Joe collectors out there, much more than I ever thought. I'm also around the mid 200s in the 64 - 76 time line.

I guesstimated 60 Joes ? Enough to fill a ping pong table. What’s the strange looking intruder figure? I never had that one.
Where did you find the Flying Space Mystery? And you have the tan Coils of Doom ATV! You must have paid a pretty penny for those. I'm jealous.
