Hojlund Is CLASS, Ten Hag Finishes 8th | Brighton 0-2 Manchester United REVIEW

- Опубліковано 18 тра 2024
- Finally, the Premier League is over. Pretty funny actually that United won 2-0 against Brighton given how much control they had but Rasmus Hojlund showed his class with his goal and Diogo Dalot's finish was good too.
If we play like that in the FA Cup final against City? It's only ending one way but at least we finished the season with 2 wins.
United have finished 8th in the league. No European football next season unless we beat City.

Oh, and I love Rasmus Hojlund, really do think he'll score 20+ next season easily when we have another striker to help.
I have always loved rasmus
He won’t score 20+ plus until we have selfless wingers who are team first oriented ( unlike Garnacho )
Yet another lacklustre performance where we fortunate to get something from the game. Papering over the cracks stuff.
@@abbapatrick2153 No you wallad. We won't have a 20+ goal tally until we get a BETTER MORE QUALIFIED MANAGER.
he should be the one who should be a second striker .great achievement of finishing the season with two wins we deserved a bottom half finish. fans like you bring down the standards and celebrate nothing.any manager who finishes eighth .bottom of the champions league group and negative goal difference should be sacked yet you are giving excuses
16 for Rasmus ! I'll take it 👏👏👏👏
Mans our ole gunna Solskjaer coming off the bench
Me too
And imagine what we could be getting if he just got half of the assists as Haaland! ETH have not managed to instruct the wingers in a manner that utilises that. WE have been screaming same for a year and it still does not materialise.
Agree, that’s my only problem with ten hag (I’m in the ten hag in camp) he should be instructing the wingers to pass first. We could be saving a lot of money from signing wingers.
Even though utd had a bad season, Garnacho Mainoo, Amad and hojlund made me feel good....the future is bright
Rasmus Scoring 2 goals consecutively with his weak foot is crazy >>
he has scored goal like this for the third time this szn
Omg hojlund scored a goal we are the best team in the world omg
Wake up glazers out ten hag out players out
i know a goal is a goal and all that, but both goals was mainly due to underestimating his weak foot and there by they were both cases of REALY bad defending. I was at neither of the goals thinking "wow what a goal" but more like "damn that was some poor defending"

@@panospanayo-enfp-1658 definitely not Bruno
Amad has more potential than Garnacho imo. Better movement, control, creativity. Garnacho takes to long on the ball, letting the defensive chape up.

Man Utd finished this season with 5th least goals conceded in comparison to all 20 clubs. But goals scored is 8th highest. Neither in numbers together are good, but for this season the goals scored missed in comparison to the teams that finished high

Anyone see the moment where Garnacho did not pass to Rasmus again. Good to see Rasmus giving him stick.
Bigger one was Mctominay not giving it back to him in the box after Ras had done the hard work... (Either 62nd or 82nd min I think.)
@@davidhackett5251McTomminay gets in Rasmus way a lot, not just this game, he’s been doing it all season. I think Scott should just be on the bench as a replacement for when Højland needs a rest.
@davidhackett5251 I was watching the game on and off. McTominay often takes up positions that Rasmus likes to pick up. If those players watch the Amazon 99 doc they ought to be embarrassed.
A bunch of individuals, not a team.
Garnacho grows selfish each passing week. He needs to be a team player.

@@blackming3420 why is that so?
@@FxScaM from a long-term perspective. In the state of United's Facilities right now, their performance of new signed players will drop in a season just like what happened to Ten hag's signed players this season.
@@blackming3420 that is something we cannot control. What we can control is how we buy/sell this upcoming transfer window, buying the right profile of players at the right price, ensure ten hag doesn’t get full control of transfers, he can ask for the type of profile he wants , but not the exact player he is requesting for and let him do his job, which is to coach the team tactically. We can also recruit new medical staff, with all this, marginal gains can be achieved, like what brailsford says

@@lawrencedinka5277 I said, hopefully, because you never know.
I mean we needed the win and a minimum 2-0 win too to get some confidence. We can beat City in the final I have confidence. I suppose Rashford starts along with Diallo and Garnacho comes on as a super sub (to score the winner and become like his idol and then hits the SIUUU) with Hojlund at striking. Too many injuries this season but we must back the manager for 1 more season and especially for the final. We need good support from the United fan channels and I'm sure we can beat 115 fc.
I think we definitely need an experienced striker in the summer.. Rasmus had the weight of the world on his shoulders and I think he’s done superb despite very little service from our wingers…

Signings should be made next season, strong young players because this was an absolutely nightmare of a season.
As united fan. I say no that
Rasmus showing his quality. He's a nightmare to play against when he has that little pocket of space to run into, dribbled past 2 and great finish. With creative wingers and an experienced striker he's definitely bagging 20 plus next season. But my word is Garnacho selfish. It could be because of him starting 37 consecutive games but my word was he selfish today, didnt celebrate with Hojlund when he scored. ETH needs to coach these players to play towards our striker
he got the negative traits from Ronaldo, he believes he is the next Ronaldo but he can better look at what playmakers do on the wing. Garnacho doesn't have the finish of Ronaldo so why he thinks he could be like him is crazy.
I agree with everything you say, but remember Ronaldo was not a good finisher at that age either. I came later

You're delusional. Brighton are 11th and dominated us. A better team would've handsomely beaten us. And outside of Martinez, he's had most of these players fit for most of the season. We finished 8th with a minus goal difference. Claiming you're happy for ETH to stay is laughable.
Arteta finished 8th 2 seasons in a row... Let's not panic just yet
Some people think fundamental change is a smooth and linear process. Took fergie 5 years in better conditions.
Rooney scored 17 in his first Utd season (although was 2 years younger than Hojlund) but in a very good team. Like Hargreaves said, Hojlund can easily score 25-30 if he plays with wingers who pass.
Delighted for Razzamataz
With Martinez back...we have a chance against City.
When RVP joined Sir Alex told the players find RVP or you don’t play, we need to do that with Rasmus. Get the lad some service and he’ll score.
Must start hojlund against city! If only our wingers passed to him he would have a lot more goals!
Rasmus hitting 10 league goals is massive and vindication of his signing. Imagine what he will do with consistent and quality service.
Imagine finishing below chelsea who have turbulence in their locker room, and newcastle who have 90% of their first 11 injured.
Sam, about Amrabat, he wasn't good today. He was terrific the past 2, esp vs Newcastle. The lack of structure in midfield & rotating takes away from players. He's very cheap to keep if we don't have world class replacement. Bout the season, been a fan for 33 yrs, this was most painful. Thanks 4 all your gr8 work mate. All the way from Melbourne, Australia 👍👍👍
So much joy, congrats

Most of the goals he's scored this season has been like this. He makes his own chances and luck at times
Well, lady luck recognise his predictment n smile on him too sometimes.
Weirdest stat of the year. United have the conceded the joint fourth fewest goals in the league 😂

let's them rebuild. Too many injuries. A difficult period of transition. This team is now moving forward from the recent doom and gloom when Ronaldo was around
Højlund didnt get much service all season.
Garnacho looks more and more like he is playing for himself. And if opponents dont expect him to pass the ball, he is easily stopped. He aint Vincious jr.
There is no play style. Looks like everyone just runs around hoping for the best.
Rashford looked like he rather be in a bar than playing.
Bruno desparing again and again. Not a leader.
Who is to blame? The manager.
Injuries not. All first team players should know the system and be able to fit in.
Isn't it somehow delusional to expect Ten Hag to perform miracles given the number of unavailable players this season due to injuries, not to talk of the messy and clueless club management until now.
The most I can say about this game is I'm glad the season has come to an end. Let's go get the Fa Cup and make our season seem alittle better 🏆
Really good goals , pleased especially for Hojland
I think you missed a point that a lot of people did; Dalot's goal was made by Hojlund shoving the defender and letting the ball drop between him and the defender. Both goals were created by Hojlund. Fair play to Dalot though for a calm finish.
Think this might be the year when I've seen the biggest gap between our first 11 and our squad players. The injuries though, I cannot remember a season so bad
So glad season ended , looking forward to fa cup final ggmu
Look it's a win and it's great to get a win any time 👍
Garnacho needs to be disciplined into playmaking in the coming pre season, he is still a 19 year old, they still have a window to force instructions in him like a youngster.

Like 1989-1990. Spooky.
Aston Villa is 68 points, imagine 4-5 games with Martinez not injured

56% possession is not OVERWHELMING. We were better in the second half
Garnacho clocking 5,804 minutes this season alone is mind blowing 🤯

We should win FA cup. It is very important.
No one there should put blame on ten hag this players are not good enough they should all pack their bag
Glad the season is over. Will be interesting to see what ineos and Jim ratcliffe do in the transfer window. Great video Sam
Problem with the injuries were that they were mostly focused around 3 positions, leaving no suitable players for those positions.
We lost 5 key players all season. Last year’s 30 goal forward and a key defensive midfielder who both fell of a cliff, and 3 of the 4 defensive positions being decimated.
Take the equivalent of shaw, Martinez, varane out of any team, along with losing the form of a 30 goal forward and a key cdm and any team would struggle. Add in weak replacements or all the reserves also being injured along with laying down long term foundations, and it’s a miracle we finished 8th. Fergie was fighting relegation for much of 1989-1990 doing similar.
I for one am just gald this monstrosity of a league season is over. It's soooooo badly wrong and long. Time to hit the restart button.
Yeah better to start with the training, medical and Catering Facilities or else all our talented players will fall off
i said it before the season, anything more than 15 goals from hojlund will be great for me
he has the best shot conversion rate among the big 6 strikers (and alexander isak from newcastle)
an unpolished gem
I think this game just felt like a warm-up for the FA Cup final, getting some minutes for the players that needed it, and taking Bruno off pretty much confirmed it, because Bruno _never_ gets subbed off.
But massive credit to Hojlund for getting 16 goals this season with no service, he's extremely clinical, and made a good percentage of the goals himself.
Ten hag is what we need because if not next season. He is setting up this club for the future period.

Yes with a proper structure, and less injuries hopefully next season is better. Oh and I dont think theres many names available that worthy of replacing Ten Hag. If you ask me I think it's going to be a positive if we don't play European football next season. This will give the players the must needed time to recover and work on our style of play.
Overall this has been a very bad season for utd but same time it's been good that it exposed alot of problems that need to be worked on and the coming up of young players who can and will carry utd forward
Arambat has being the difference last few games, I’m telling u Sam it’s knowing the cover is there, and he looks like he wants to play
Amrabat’s legs and butts ate heavy. Add his lack of awareness of threats around him and he’s just not worth keeping.
2nd half was much better because RH pressed the defence and goalie, rattling them a bit whereas McSauce never did any pressing in the 1st half.
It's a mentality problem.
Against Brighton... and I don't think Martinez's inclusion can't be emphasised enough... the team suddenly has an energy and a passion for keeping the clean sheet.
Luke Shaw's absence as well is still a huge problem. The guy was IMO the best left-back in the world when England reached the Euro's. Last year he was immense.
It's like what Walker does for City and how many times he rescues them defensively but also offensively he's so aggressive.
Watching United now is just heartbreaking
Now, show me longevity success in terms of manager+team, that didn’t have terrible season in the beginning especially without a proper technical director like city with terrible recruiting like we have had
Happy this season is done
Finished 8th and Broke Many Records - ETH is a Genius!
I am just happy for hollund
De zerbi leaving Brighton worries me. A clear step down on ten hag. I’d even rate potter higher.
I've always said it that a team who is aiming to win trophies will not have a winger like Garnacho starting. He should be an impact sub. Unfortunately, Rashford who is supposed to be first choice is badly out of form.
I though the game today was more stable with compact mid
Probably good to have no europe next season so we can focus on rebuilding in the league
Yes, that would be the consolation if we lose the cup final. Means we can sell more players without having to replace them, which would help a lot.
Really bad season, standards are way off, 30 points away from just challenging for the championship, 90 points doesn't even win it these days. Better everything needed
Hojlund no longer wait for passes He makes it himself and does the finishing. Ganarcho needs to learn team play not selfish acts💪🏿
A win is a win is a win.. but let's take the positives
Giggs was 17, and turned 18, during the 91/92 season when he played virtually the full season (38 league games, 51 games total). Started in all but 3 of those games. Played the full 90 minutes in most games, there was only two subs back then, not the crazy number of subs we have these days.
Rashford will play in the final so not surprised he didn't start today, but I must admit I thought Garnacho might have been rested today.
No European football next year unless we pull off a miracle next week :( That's pretty shameful, you have to be a bit rubbish not to qualify for Europe these days.
Giggs arguably best player in epl history.
Eric Ten Hag has to stay. He know the team the best and can be super advisor to new recruitment. ETH was like a man who was given a clay hammer , pile of rusty nails and was told to build an ARK. I don't think, that there is a world class manager who could do a better job. Ajax want him back , Bayern Munich wants him, Inter and probably a bunch of other clubs would like to have him.
I wish next season good prepared for the Man United
A good player is no selfish always fight for the team. Hard work n the key is team work. A good Manager can build team to be a good n strong team n work each other as a team. No star or pay high please..this can damage a team spirit. Sell or move a bad players trust your reserved give them a change. Spend much but no results... think n work smart..Money is not no 1. Team is always no 1..good players always can play with 2 legs..
