Sorry! Disagree . Had the banks not played spoil sport ?? Demonetization is simple to understand for general public ,but too complex for an expert ! I have asked today to many roadside venders ! They are not critical at all. They rather feel good ,that big ones had to go into that trouble ! 1.The currency in circulation was 4.5 lac crores ,so that much new notes were printed for exchange. The genuine people's requirement would have been well met by that , 2. The exchange operation through banks itself ( if done honestly) would have been OK , without ,much or minimum need for ATMs. Actually, people in India have so much time ! for such personal situations ! Office etc is mansged understandably. 3.No pressure to print additional 4.5 lac crore new notes ,would have come ,on the government. 4.Then the dumped currency and counterfeit currecy ( equal 4.5 lac crore) would not have found any applicable chance to survive , except to disclose as per tight terms , pay penalty and taxes, Or forget that. But banks went , hand in gloves with the big hoarders of underground currency, That also got exchanged. This created a certain level of problems for public but ,which were very highly televised by vested media as well. That forced the government to print extra 4.5 lac crores.
The second pilot's identity, who was "muntt-a-killed" to CMH, would make a great story to uncover. Pakistani locals were gung ho about capturing two pilots from "their area" in their own videos and while interacting with media.

Even if we assume that Spice 2000 was used and that the bombs dropped by our Mirages hit the target, let's be clear that this is not a type of missile / bomb but just a precision guidance system for warheads. Different types of warheads having different impact capabilities can be used in conjunction with the Spice 2000 technology developed and sold by Rafael company of Israel. So the next thing we cannot verify is which kind of warheads were used for the Balakot air strikes and hence I don't know how Mr. Abhijit Iyer-Mitra can state that about the kind of impact they had. It is always hard to believe that roof structures would stand even though they were not enclosed and RCC in nature, when such heavy payloads hit them. Therefore, till such time the IAF / government does not de-classify this information, it is better we just believe what they say and not indulge in speculative expertise.
Actually the bunker buster or penetrator types of missiles do not create a big surface damage... That is pure physics... Think how a bullet goes inside the body but leaves a small hole on the surface.

I do not agree at all with his views on demonetizing. He has some fancy theory of calling demonetizing as remonetizing but that is just plain wrong. The Govt just didn't replace old currency notes with new notes of the same value but put out brand new value notes. That is why the crooks had to get people to stand in lie for weeks to replace currency. They had to find poor people who were willing to stand in long lines in the sun to exchange old notes for new ones. The total value of the notes may have approached the value of the old notes but every one of them had to be routed through the banks. That was one intended result and no amount of disagreement to that makes any sense. Also the whole nation saw the benefits of digital transactions and the change over is now seen across the country.
Madhav Das - I agree with your analysis. I also think there is something deeper which the Government isn’t in a position to explain publicly with respect to demonetisation. We know a lot of people in the bureaucracy and judiciary were corrupt, how come their money didn’t get knocked out of circulation? How come money of the politicians and businessmen didn’t get caught? In every property transaction black money is generated. How come none of it could be netted? If the decision to demonetise was taken in February and implemented in November, did the Government do it to knockout just ₹400 crores of fake currency? You don’t burn your bed to get rid of a few bed bugs. Seems a laughable proposition. So the only conclusion is that banks cheated the government in broad daylight.
On western experts on Balakot, two experts were quoted : Nathan Ruser and Michael Sheldon. Both of them are kids doing internship in Univs unrelated to satellite imagery and have no practical experience in satellite imagery either. Question is, why didn't the indian media do any due diligence on the antecedents of these so called experts?

At 19:16 he mentions security ink. The Security Printing Ink used by India for printing Currency Notes is made by an Indian Company SICPA ! SICPA INDIA is subsidiary of SICPA (I think Swiss). They have monopoly on security inks & do due diligence in supplying. It's almost impossible for a rogue state to get it's hands on the ink. Here we had the Pakistanis obtaining for themselves BUT they misused the Trust.

balakot could be said as successful, if 1- WC abhinandan had not landed in POK and 2- the super excited Indian personal who operate spyder defence system and don't even care to Recognize and than confirm before shooting down their own bird.
I do not agree at all with his views on demonetizing. He has some fancy theory of calling demonetizing as remonetizing but that is just plain wrong. The Govt just didn't replace old currency notes with new notes of the same value but put out brand new value notes. That is why the crooks had to get people to stand in lie for weeks to replace currency. They had to find poor people who were willing to stand in long lines in the sun to exchange old notes for new ones.
The total value of the notes may have approached the value of the old notes but every one of them had to be routed through the banks. That was one intended result and no amount of disagreement to that makes any sense. Also the whole nation saw the benefits of digital transactions and the change over is now seen across the country.
Madhav Das - I agree with your analysis. I also think there is something deeper which the Government isn’t in a position to explain publicly with respect to demonetisation. We know a lot of people in the bureaucracy and judiciary were corrupt, how come their money didn’t get knocked out of circulation? How come money of the politicians and businessmen didn’t get caught? In every property transaction black money is generated. How come none of it could be netted? If the decision to demonetise was taken in February and implemented in November, did the Government do it to knockout just ₹400 crores of fake currency? You don’t burn your bed to get rid of a few bed bugs. Seems a laughable proposition. So the only conclusion is that banks cheated the government in broad daylight.
On western experts on Balakot, two experts were quoted : Nathan Ruser and Michael Sheldon. Both of them are kids doing internship in Univs unrelated to satellite imagery and have no practical experience in satellite imagery either.
Question is, why didn't the indian media do any due diligence on the antecedents of these so called experts?
