Are you lot intentionally sending Mossy to ride all the tall bikes out of spite? Keep it up
😂
🤣🤣
At least he got to review the speed twin
Bill Standen Buah ha ha!
Music is gold! Ordinary bike. Love you Mossy 😎👍
Ah lads... the music is brilliant 😂
By the way... the people have spoken... we want an ADV BBB and you guys on the TET. And include Mossy!!!
KLR vs DR650, adventure with a bit of greenlaning!
Agreed!!!
Well up for that.
Vote: yes
Could you see Baron, err, Chris on an ADV? Getting his hair out of place and his boots dirty? Right proper prima donna that one. Please, please let it happen.
I saw “Suzuki V-Strom Review” and thought, meh, I ain’t gonna watch that. Then I saw Mossy and knew I was watching the whole thing.
Friendly Robot I was quite the opposite, I can’t stand im
Mossy is such a charming chap, glad to watch him! ADV BBB with Mossy when?
Sure I have said it before, Mossy is a perfect fit for 44T, Chris on one side (posh), Al in the middle and Mossy on the other side (not posh). Mossy adds years of experience and a big chunk of humour to an already good channel.
I love ALL of the fine detail this new guy gives about the engine/motorcycle similarities and changes. Thank you, this level of detail is lacking in motorcycle reviews.
Cause he knows his shit, proper crusty old rider :)
this man is a legend! well done 44Teath for listening to the viewer's and for letting Mossy carry on doing this kind of bike reviews 👌
THANK YOU, 44Teeth crew, for continuing to put out so much quality content the last couple of weeks. It's clearly a lot of work put into these... know that we greatly appreciate it!
Just back from a 2500 mile road trip on the black 1050xt around Ireland and the UK. I upgraded from the 1000xt and the increased price is worth every penny. Love the cruise control and bike handles like a dream. Used all driver modes and TC settings and power delivery is more linear. Used the bike off road around Worthy Farm Glastonbury Festival site and the bike held up well. I’m 6’4” and this bike is brilliant for tall riders, really comfortable and only minimal wind resistance from the standard screen. Relatively low service costs and bulletproof engine make this a really good buy and would definitely recommend this bike.
Paul Boyle congrats on the new bike. I have a 2012 V-Strom 650 and I’d like to upgrade to the new 1050. Could you please tell me what is the minimum speed and gear that the cruise control will work? Cheers!
Got that cheesy V-Strom jingle stuck in my head now.
Ear wormed
Your gonna buy one now
Same thing as all of the V-Stroms, reviewers find them a bit dull owners love them cos they just work
Screw the Beemers and the Orange ones! I want one of these! I dont need the biggest baddest, fastest, fanciest bikes on the planet. I want a Suzuki, with its bombproof engine that gets the job done!
The funny thing is that the reviewers always praise the SV650, and it's been the same bike for 20 years now, if you count the Gladius. Same when Kawasaki found out they could just sell the same Ninja 250 and Ninja 500 for 20 years with one update before people started grumping that the bikes looked ugly.
I have to agree with you. Reliable, affordable, trouble free transportation that is no slouch. Great bike and the price is great as well.
I disagree, why does suzuki need to build a completely new vstrom when it works so well. It also doesn't make business sense to spend all that money on a risk when the old one is still strong. I think perfecting it further bit by bit is the way to go. This way you retain your base and slowly grow it. Suzuki has invested loads in the 650 and 1000 vstroms since 2011. At least in adventure touring I think they're stronger than ever
Thank you all so much for posting content still
'suzuki haven't been doing so well as of late...' well at least we know now what budget bike battle team mossy is on
Another great video, Alex Rins at the start was mega!
Thoroughly enjoyed this review. Alex Rins! And that 'Suzuki V-Strom' song...outstanding!!
thanks for great episode, that review made my day, I think many bike reviewers should learn from you to keep the information and humor all in perfect balance, Mossy is the best! = )
Just the best reviews with this man! 👍👍👍
And cruise control, finally, thank you Sweet Jesus, I mean who doesn't like cruise control !
only comes on the top model tho
all weather riders
I don't.
But you have to get a bike with wire wheels to get cruise control... why?
@@steve-wu7jp According to the Suzuki site, cruise is on all of the XT and the XT adventure, just not the entry level
Surprised Mossy could reach the floor 🤣😂🤣😂
Another top vid guys. very entertaining and down to earth. Cheers to you all and thanks.
15:50
Alex Rins: I have a Suzuki Jimny
Mossy: Oh dear
.... Good, Bye Bye.
That was classic!😂
Jimny and this VStrom 1050, Suzuki really bringing back old designs, in a good way.
I've just had my 2014 out after a long winter. Turbine smooth and beautiful handling. Just a brilliant all around bike. I've got intake mods, a fueler and a Yosh pipe and she is strong.
Mossy talking to himself on the ride is the best.
44 Teeths's entertainment level has just gone up a notch,cheers.JHB-SA
Is quite FUN isn't is! CENTURION-SA
Another great review from Mr Chris “PC” Moss
Good to see Mossi!!
I'm really waiting for an upgraded GSXR 750 with retro 80s / 90s looks.
K8 750 Gixxer was my first bike! 750s are amazing!
Currently i own a 2015 gsxr750, and was contemplating building a retro body kit.
@@docmoto6477 What would something like that look like? Got a link?
My bike history is surprisingly close to Baron's by chance! 750 instead of 1000 gixxer, had the s1000rr as he did, had superduke 1st gen as he did, have 2nd gen as he did, about to take delivery of 3rd gen, and that will be the "final bike" for a good while! :-D
The 750 is dead.
@@Nerezza1 But NOT for good reason... Superior to the 600 in EVERY way, while not heavier at all...
Mossy is a great character, always enjoy his reviews.
I could listen to Mossy's matter of factness all day. More please.
Love the new looks
Well this made my day. Thank you. Stay well.
Love being in the old one's helmet!! When he talked about busting a wheelie 😂😂still full of beans💪👍😎✌
Lovely info that guys. Mossy is a lovely Chap
Love it, thanks guys
My K7 Vstrom 1000 is about to go over 100k km and it has been bullet proof. Most comfortable ride for long tours and lots of power even with all the gear. One day I may upgrade to newer model.
You sir, are the RULE and not the exception.
Suzuki engines are bullet proof and there are plenty of 'go fast' parts in the aftermarket if one so desires.
Nothing wrong with being a bit 'old' and 'bullet proof'....ha!
Brilliant video, love it!
Mossy gets better an better! What a lad.
Mossey is a cross between Johnny Vegas and that geezer from Auf Wiedersein pet.
Oof.
You're right. At first I wondered why they had Johnny in 😄
"Dae ye put 'er onboard ever??"
Class Mossy. Pure class!
My SV650's gearbox had the same "positive" feel mossy described. It's goes away once it's properly worn in at 5000km and just becomes super smooth while still feeling precise.
Great work
Intro music is amazing.
Need the track name please
@@cshymshy the lyrics really speak to me.
@@cshymshy 'Suzuki Vstrom'
I generally hate EDM...but...loved this!!
It’s called ‘Suzuki V-Strom’ by Al Fagan, 2020
Your content is the best motorcycle content on YT (especially budget bike battle).
The bike seems pretty solid, albeit a bit boring. Seems like good value, solid on the road, and as long as you’re not planning on tackling anything off-road too difficult, it will probably handle all the dirt, gravel, and light rocky trails you can throw at it. Compared to my GS, there would still be enough left over for a new R7 track bike too!
How are you guys, love your channel, it's entertaining and the fun you're having gets into the viewers. I'm a Motogp fan and my current hero is Alex Rins; just want to share some thoughts on racing. I think Rins has the most relaxed, fluid and downright fast riding style. MM is an outstanding athlete, he would be at whatever sport he took. For me he is someone who races by aggressively reacting to others, it´s not like he likes going fast, you know, when you think "let's try not to break so much and instead lean a bit further, keep the speed.." just saying... I'll be waiting for that Mossy / Rita Ora joint venture! keep it up and all the best to you
who else was having an absolute blat of a rave to the intro :D vstrom-vstrom
We need mossy on an adv three way BBB. How did you guys meet him? What a legend
He's Al's dad!
Steven Kelby he’s your dad too 😉😂
@@mbal4052 If mum was a waitress in the 70s, he might be!
@@stevenkelby2169 really??
@@ethan9553 Yep, that's what I read!
I enjoyed watching that. Top job boys.
Hi Mossy, I'm trying to decided between, this or the F900XR or maybe the Ninja 1000SX. (Haven't ridden any of them.) What would be your choose of these three for general around town and the odd bit of touring?
. Charming,With lot of since of humor..wonderful well discribe review with major points to mention..
The VStrom 1050 review was most informative and enjoyable. The old guy is incredible.
When are they going to make a brand spanking new MOTO GP rep 750!!!?
Great fun video lads!😅
Mossy + Rins#42.... this video is gonna be good! :)
Suzuki's place in the motorcycle industry is pretty interesting right now. What they're doing going forward (if anything other than carrying on as is) will be weird to see as other manufacturers keep pressing on in R&D. And as always, a big thanks to 44T for making such great content! Tell ya friends
Suites me, the basic motor was perfect, they changed the motor exactly as they should have. Instead of all the beans at 4k then nothing after that, they smoothed it out and saved something for the higher revs. Didn't have to change the chassis, only thing needed was cruise which they installed. I have Ducati's and BMW with all the gadget suspension and keyless etc. If you have a good suspension you don't need a real time adjustment. Rather than pay 25k for a new toy with all the latest and greatest I am done with their carrot and stick. Thank you Suzuki.
Another great review from 44 Teeth, even a few shots of Álex Rins! Nice. I recommend you do a follow up of the GSX-S1000F; the world is waiting for it.
Mossy is great!! Can we have an episode about mossy!!!
funnily enough the previous gen V strom 1000 had a better screen with better adjustment.
Good rapport between these two
MOSSY!!!!✌
Nice job dudes! How fast does it go mister?
Brilliant reviewer !
Funny watching this again 3 years later and suzuki now got newer strom with even more gizmos , 4 cylinder gt , gx tall rounder , 800 de , 800 re ,1050 de.. .. must have listened to you guys ,good review .
Only bike I've ever heard someone compare to a renovated pub😂
You have to love this guy ! What about the 650 strom vs the 1000 ? I am looking into purchasing a leftover , found couple of 2018, 2019’s a couple of dealers still have . Huge price difference, seems like the redo is not exactly groundbreaking so I might have to do some more research.
I would happily have a 650. Having said that the bigger bike really doesn't feel heavy at all, was very surprised when I sat on one a while back, tempting at the right price.
Great review. I very much prefer the styling of this to the Africa Twin. Would like to see this compared to the Twin. Africa Twin has more features but I dont mind giving them up to save a few grand. Hoping the Pan America wont cost $30k US but if it does I may go for the Suzuki.
I’d love to see a cafe bike based on this platform. Hopefully cafe bikes stay on trend for the duration of time it will take for Suzuki to develop the bike
Hey... Listen......great review keep them coming
@17:42 that looks a bit Squirrley, bike then loses the front/back for a split second...I might put the traction control back on, lol!
"Do you put her on board" brilliant
Deffo need to do a series called mossy's stories episode one red diesel 😂
Those V-Strom bikes are good go'ers and I've only hired them but never had a problem.
Nice vidéo; thanks. In Canada, the Tiger 900 GT Pro is much more expensive than the VStrom 1050XT, but i think the price of the Tiger 900 GT is very close of the price of the VStrom 1050XT. Both are great & both are to much expensive 😉. Personally, i prefer the Tiger.
One question if you know, can you permanently turn the Hill Hold Assist off? Does the bike remember what settings were previously set when turned off and on via the key?
Alan shearer knows a lot more about bikes than i thought
Cruise control sold it for me. I’m trading in my DL1000 XT for for the 1050. Love the retro look but can’t decide between the yellow or Orange/white. Any advice on what one would have better resale value.
Mossy cracks me up, so funny 🤣
my question is Suzuki 1050 xt or bmw gs 1200 2015 for 100% road which to buy
Mossy is awesome
Do you think Suzuki gone a change the V-STROM 650 in a near future at least with a new dash screen
Any chance of a review of the mt 10 adventure
Upcoming episodes? More Mossy? Come on spill the beans.
I have a totally customized one of a kind 2018 1050XT which I bought new in Aug 2017, which came out 4 years before the so-called new 2021 1050XT, as I thought since the new 2021 1050XT's engine is the same 1037cc displacement and my 2018's engine I figured that I could also call mine a 1050XT, So I ordered a pair of 1" high 1050XT vinyl decals which I applied to the upper gas tank side covers, and wala I had a 1050XT for $10,85, which is the cost of the two decals.
Off road... I've been down worse surfaced roads in London!
He's doing a great job Mossy. Knows his shit!
Nice video! If you have to choose between the V-strom 1050 or the Tiger 900 for long trips mostly road and some gravel what would you pick? why?
charlton bryan 1050. One’s made in Japan and the other is made in Thailand. One’s proven bulletproof and the other, who knows...
Mossy top lad!
Such a bloody good bike. I’ve got one. Got rid of the Tenere to get one.
Include Mossy into some of your Q&As!
Brilliant....love it 👍
cutting corners you naughty boy
Please create a second channel and make Mossy's raw ride footage available!
Mossy's point on gaining respect, but never loving, the VStrom is EXACTLY how I feel about mine. Boringly reliable and effective.
Basically if it was a few k less could be a winner?
I think it means : I want to get a move on, man!!!
Can’t wait for the diesel story!!!
Yep DR Big looky likey, I like it .Thanks Guys.
That intro music is hilarious
Suzuki putting the windscreen adjustment on the front and out of the cockpit is just the strangest engineering choice I have seen
Nice & entertaining review. Classic Suzuki really. A very decent but unspectacular "new" bike that's actually a tarted up old bike. Doesn't mean it isn't any good though! In answer to your question, I'm guessing Suzuki aren't building new bikes or doing anything very exciting because they're skint. Hopefully a new Hayabusa, GSXR750 & 600 may arrive for 2021 but they will again probably be evolution rather than revolution.
Great to see Alex Rins out on a bike launch👍 I like Mossy and he is a bit crazy on and off the bike but struggle to understand what he's saying? 👍🇦🇺🍺
Are you a Southerner 🤔
Mossy doesn't understand what he's saying.
@@nigel274 from down under Australia. 👍
For a moment I thought Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was suddenly into motorbikes
