I know Mario games aren’t known for their story or anything but this has to be one of the most missed potential story in any Mario game. Mario and Bowser jr teaming up to save Bowser feels like it should’ve had a much cooler story

Unfortunately, it's Miyamoto we're talking about. He's so old fashioned, he goes as far as possible to make sure there is as little story possible in any game he lays a finger on.

TO this day, I still find it funny that Mario's basically fed up with Bowser Jr as soon as he spoke to him lmao.
And the Plessie ending is so out of pocket, it still makes me chuckle every time. It's the dumb choir they added, it wasn't necessary, but BOY did it make it even funnier!

This line reminded me of the opening to The Sound of Music, in which a woman runs down a hill screaming "THE HILLS ARE ALIVE!"
The next line reveals the hills are alive "with the sound of music," but for a moment there it sounds like the beginning of a fantastic horror movie.

I really enjoyed Bowser's Fury. 3D World is one of my favorite games.
We could have had Giant Angry Peach, but instead we're getting Peach Dress-Up.

This is a really fun episode! Glad you were able to get it out! IMO Bowser's Fury gets overlooked so much since it's a 4 hour game locked behind a full price remake.
Being fair, it seems more like a little fun experiment than a full videogame, you know?
I hope that this concepts develops into something bigger , a Mario Open World sounds like an interesting idea.
Edit: Now that I think about it... do you guys think that Mario Formula by itself might be enough to be into a open world, or needs to be greatly changed in order to work properly?

As one lonely guy to another your videos are the only thing that seems to bring me any sort of joy anymore (that is a feat in itself, honestly)
As a 34 year old man, who only sleeps, eats and works
After a long day and I need to relax I spend most of my time watching your videos
You don't know how much of a feat that is as I suffer with PTSD, severe depression, constant pain from a multidisk spinal injury with contorted muscles at the bottom of the spine and constant pain from the waist down (probably be in a wheelchair by 40), asbestos in my body, ontop of being abused mentally and physically for 13 odd years (since 12) and am failing to even find a reason to get out of bed in the morning
But in the evening I know I can switch one of your videos on and at least feel a semblance of happiness and relaxation
I sincerely appreciate your videos and hope you have many more years of this
(FYI can we get one of you playing wario master of disguise, I love your wario series)

Just wanted to comment and mention how in Mario wonder, a Goomba can in fact be stuck between two blocks and look displeased about it
I remember my first play through of this game. It was nice reliving my favorite game on the wii u and bowser’s fury was a happy bonus.

Jokes aside, it's cool that you're finally talking about a game that released within two years, that's gotta be a record.
I'm 80% certain that Bowser's Fury was the result of Nintendo wanting to test out the concept of an open world Mario game. One big world is the logical escalation of Odyssey's multiple small worlds, after all.
Whether or not they'll stick with that concept for the next big Mario game is yet to be seen, of course. As interesting as the idea of a huge seamless collect-a-thon is, I also recognize it wouldn't actually do much to improve the experience. If anything, it'd restrict the developers by forcing them to make all their worlds fit and flow together, instead of letting them exist as wildly different areas with wildly different rules.

UA-cam algorithm is doing you really dirty. The amount of time you put in each video is outstanding. Editing, choosing the right gameplay/music, thumbnails. I can imagine you put hours in to animating 'goomba', especially the eyes and mouth. Superb content, sadly UA-cam has changed and is now focussing more on stupid 'Shorts'.... Bowser's Fury is the most underappreciated Mario game ever, it's genuinely incredible (and i prefer it over odyssey myself)
I know I would have appreciated it myself if they didn’t charge full price for it and bundle it with a game I already played on the Wii U. I definitely got the feeling, though, that it improved on Mario Odyssey in a lot of ways for those willing to pay for the privilege.
Hopefully Bowser’s Fury is a sign of good things to come when we FINALLY get a new 3D Mario game.
