@@wardrich eh with those long lenses it's easy to accidentally bump things. Depending how worn down the CDJs are, that reverse button can press down fairly easily and the camera man might've just rested for a second for a nice steady shot.

Once when I saw Hardwell live back in 2015, he screwed up by playing the same song like 5 mins after he had already played it. So he suddenly stopped the music and was like “yeah sorry guys I f*cked that shit up. I play the whole set perfect and I f*ck it up at the very end, god damn!”
Was funny as hell. I respected him for owning up to his mistake and staying humble even though he was the worlds #1 DJ at the time.
This made me so fcking sad bro, RIP Tim 5:40

Sometime what happens is that the speakers for the crowd stop working, but the ones in the booth stay working. They are so loud he probably couldn’t tell when the others went out.

como dice tiesto , es en vivo , un error a cualquiera le pasa ,, es muy comun que subas la pista a al plato que esta tocando y pasa eso: .. o el software aveces falla o la cancion y mas si estan tocando con aplicaciones que ocupan estar online

Hardwell one wasn’t a fk up, the camera man hit the rev/forward button with his camera. Hardwell switched the switch back while telling the camera man to back off abit....this happened to me when my MC was too pumped and hit the play pause button with his stomach....

Diese ganzen Laptop- und Digital- möchtegern Dj's sind doch eher die Trittbrettfahrer in der Musik Szene.
Alles was die können ist rumhüpfen und so tun als ob....lächerlich.
Es gibt Ausnahmen, wie Deadmaus (der hat ja auch mal ne Schallplatte in der hand gehabt und aufgelegt, nach allen Regeln der Kunst, welche das Dj-Handwerk beinhaltet.
Und das sind nur 2 Regeln, die man erlernen muß, der Rest kommt mit der Zeit)
Digital ist ein schönes Werkzeug, aber nur mit einem Werkzeug kann ich auch keine Baustelle betreiben.
Da gehört schon mehr dazu!!!

I am actually proud to see people performing live and not playing a pre-recorded mix and also that we are human and shit happens. I don't even have a following and I get so anal about stuff, and even then, there are few slip ups that I allow just to be realistic.

List your two "favourite" fark ups while DJ-ing:
1. When i got my first gig at a university, the boss set up the CDJs and didnt tell me he had them set for "play 1 track only and stop". I had a premix track i had done and set the "drop" to start on the second track.
I did the big build up, got the crowd pumped, had my hands in the air and.....nothing (dead air)
2. Punter threw a red college paper drinking cup full of beer at the DJ stand...fried the mixer.
Plenty more mind you...

I've fallen through the floor of the DJ Booth, I've had people rip the gear off the table, I've had my USB soundcard ripped from the PC, macbook fly off the table into concrete, beer spilled INTO the controller whilst playing live, BPM jump to 40bpm half way through a psytrance set... LOL.
