Nah the collision is alr the problem is that there isn't anything under that mesh and the mesh parts are welded togheter so it creates this weird effect Edit: UGH I explained it wrong so basically the dev accidentally copy pasted the water physics onto the sand, that explained why the stone had a higher density than the sand my bad guys.

@@alonso973 depends on the specifics of the quicksand. It could be buoyant pumice sand on top of water, or it could be a non newtonian suspension of sand, silt, and water. Without knowing the thickness and how resistant it is to force It's hard to tell if you can or can't swim in it.
the water is covered in pumice, volcanic stone, its extremely porous, so its very lightweight, and it actually floats on the surface of the water, after volcanic eruptions you'll sometimes see beaches absolutely covered in it, and it makes a neat sound as its washed around by breaking waves.
