This is what I love about modifying our trucks! I wouldn’t go with the visor or change out the amber indicators but that’s my style. What makes each build unique is the owner and what they want it to look like. Keep doing what you are doing mate. She’s looking mint 🤙

My grandma had the brackets underneath the visor
Studs on the visor not bolts through it so not physically possible
Its coming along nicely, love those windows, it makes for easier access. Going to look good with suspension and wheels 👌

Emu wings would have been a better solution.
Coming along well guys. Probs just move the pinch weld around so the join is on the bottom. Just for any slight chance it gets water in it. It wound hold in the strip.
Use the original spacers and mod for your new 4" speakers inback door. Works perfect. Pop out the old one and adjust the spacer for new speakers which you glue in then sits perfect for the original cover.

The 80 already look good in standard form (a bit biased 😁), but you two are turning it into another level. While I'm not going to fit a sunvisor on mine anytime soon, it actually does not look that bad fitted. It probably will even look better once you put on a roof rack. You better watch out Tyler, Demi's rig might exceed your GQ's capability soon. 😁 Loving this 80 build episode. ❤👍

Put a mullet mods cup holder in my 80, definitely an upgrade without replacing the whole centre console 🤙

I just replaced the rear speakers in my 80 series to. But I 3D printed new housings to accommodate the new speakers and fit neatly in to the original locations and refitting the original speaker covers. Can you get a new grill with diesel in the bottom corner.

The body rubber / seal should have the join at bottom. Water will pool along top and possibly leak. Loving the landcruiser videos now

Just get the 3d printed 2 cup holder thing clips in to the 2 of the switches on the centre console works well fits big cups

Definitely reccomend stripping the interior and putting in sound deadening, will completely transform the car in terms of driving comfort and improving the audio system. It’s not a difficult process just a bit time consuming

You should have bought a Discovery. You wouldn’t need to do all that work except for gullwing windows.
Where are the Indicators and tail lights from?
Have a look at Mullet Mods, I got the cup holder for my GU centre console, it fits nicely & now holds a large cup. They are 3D printed though, but do the Job. Keep up the good work, cheers from the Northern Rivers NSW 😃👍

Todd did a great job on those gullwing windows replacement. I guess it makes it darker with less natural light in the back, does it help with keeping heat coming through the glass previously or do the gulling get hot on inside?
For a pro product @12:20 thats a really crappy finish inside.

Not that I have any idea what I'm doing, but wouldn't the join in the pinchweld be better at the bottom of the window ? If water sits on top of the seal it's just going to go in the crack ?

Only thing i dont like is electronic stuff underneath seat if u in a deap river crossing and car fills with water like they do not good 4 electrics 😮 apart from that very nice job 👍 and them windows yep one day im getting them too 😊
Yep 80 won't be doing much off roading haha so that's why we put it there
