- I remember this from 1974 and decided to do it!
"The Night Chicago Died" is a song by the British group Paper Lace, written by Peter Robin Callander and Mitch Murray. The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week in 1974 and also reached number 3 in the UK charts. It is about a fictional shoot-out in Chicago between gangsters tied to Al Capone and the Chicago Police.
Excellent song!
Great visuals on this, Dean. Nice harmonies. You really create amazing videos. Big Al sure was a charmer. Five stars. John
That was a really good cover. I have to hand it to you. On a lark, I just viewed a whole bunch of covers and yours was probably the best - certainly among English speakers. (I heard a really good Spanish cover - I could barely understand a word, but you can tell, y'know.) All the English speakers had similar troubles on certain words - you too,but probably the least. Good job man, keep it up. I hope you get a lot more views.
Thank you John!
Thanks very much Milan!
Dean, this is just so doggoned great I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed it. You truly do some of the BEST covers.
Ohhh, about a gazillion stars MIGHT get it.
