I used to play 41 or 42 cards with 3 prosp, but felt like 40 was really important for white cat hits, i would say i missed prospy post side, but i didnt have an issue opening street (im just built different ig). only had 1 bad brick all tournament
game 1 i never would, game 2 and 3 i usually went second and didnt have to. for the rare case post side i did go first i would just sit on a big cat, or play to make it with yeap to draw with the rank 2 and let noir just sit there and look pretty
felt like the extra nonengine slots were better for the 1 called by droll and rivalry, really wanted to play a clean 40. prospy also requires you do predict the rest of the game when you banish for cost, so not playing it helps you pivot after something changes
i try so hard to play 4 cats, and i did mess around with the chalice boardbreaker lists last format, i just felt like 3rd white cat needed to come this time, rivalry was phenomenal in testing i just happened to only see it in bad situations anyway
@@dkphame yeah, I decided after playing that I was just gonna cut shifter because it’s just as good going second, and playing dark ruler on top is 6 outs to the end board
@@juice3752 I never side shifter against Fire as well, but I never sided Fissure against Pure SE tho, against FK yes, but against Pure it never seemed to bother them.
@@dkphame my going 2nd side pattern into pure was crossouts, rivalry, 3rd yellow cat and droll for 3 shifter 3 dark ruler (should’ve just been storms and ruler in hindsight) Into fk it was crossouts for fissure, that was what I tested, but in each game where I went 2nd into fire king, I did not see that they were playing it during g1/2 I liked the theory of playing shifter in side because it’s so broad and jt really limits your opponent. It stops the gimmick puppet lock, voiceless 1 card combos, cripples both fire decks, plus a possible crossout target for going first into floo/kash. It made deck building super clean because I didn’t feel like I needed to play droll because of how strong shifter was feeling. The hindsight is always 2020 and if I had to plan for this event again, I think I would play shifter anyway, but I will say I never sided it in for a game 3, the high risk high reward isn’t worth it in crunch time. I think droll would’ve also been a decent option or potentially a small bystial package
"Do you want this? It's a German CR!" *puts a French card on the table*

I play 52 in master duel without prosp. and I had multiple winstreaks (purrely-GT-SE)
Now you just gotta get those dice back from Leblanc lol
That's my goat
hi nice profile but what is reason for big white cat is it only for empty field otk?
reason for big white cat is my friend walked up with shiny cardboard. exhappy is also kinda interesting for otk potential into open boards yes.
Good kitty
How do you play around kurikara?
Dont activate noir after the trap

Uh no prosp?
Nah, don't need it

Great job 🐱🔥
Crossout ✅
Rivalry ✅
5 cats 🥲
Rivalry go2nd works most often with chalice or ruler, that‘s why it prob didn‘t work for you.
