- Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles says the government has recently made the “most significant” defence agreement with Indonesia in history.
Mr Marles told Sky News Australia that there is “deep strategic trust” between the two nations.
“The ease by which we can work together and work from each other's countries is so much better.”

I am Sundanese, I am not Muslim. We are the first people in Southeast Asia to allow Europeans to settle in the Sunda Strait for trade.
