came searching mellow grief music after burying a cat we only had a couple of months. Very surprised how painful that is, too, not getting the companionship you think you will.

Maybe I would have liked to have mentioned: Wilma was my little spotted turtle. She slept under the corner of my pillow once in a while, and liked to hang out in my shirt pocket and watch Bonanza sometimes. She gave me 17 wonderful babies and died with eggs stuck inside her. I could both feel joy and could cry with her. Yes, turtles do have unique and individual personalities.

Understand and study Cymatics. Realise that Harold Budd is an examplar of another dimension in music, his music can alter for the better one's brains frequency of what you really are and what it's connected too, it will separate the dross from the sublime. Turn off, listen and re-connect to that which is within you. Know thyself through a change of vibration's,in essence re-tune that dial !

Have you ever considered that a personal psychological positive effect isn't actually evidence of intangible healing capability of music, and that maybe certain kinds of music simply trigger positive emotional reactions that indirectly improve overall physical well being by well known and directly measurable mechanisms?

I was digging it until about 13 minute mark, when it started reminding me of unimaginative Vini Rielly. I feel like I'm listening to someone exploring a guitar delay's basic settings for the first time. But at the 15' mark we go back to the delicious Fripperisms! Pleasant overall, but I more highly recommend Budd and John Foxx's trilogy of Drift Music, Translucence, and Nighthawks at the Diner. :-) Those three albums are gripping and engaging in a way that no other Harold Budd album I've heard is, or ambient albums in general for that matter.

Remember, to know ABOUT is worthless. The word "about" means around. To know about something means to go on moving in circles, around and around. The word "about" is beautiful. Whenever you read "about," read "around." When somebody says, "I know ABOUT God," read: he knows AROUND God. He goes in a circle. And real knowing is never about, never around; it is direct, it is a straight line. Osho, cupido of flash
