Always explain it very well. If you haven't got one of his books, they are so worth it

L4, L5, S1 has always been a problem area for me personally over the years. Having seen chiro's offer years to get it sorted, it wasn't until I did a "Yoga for Lower Backs" series of classes that things started to get better, that taught me things I can do to help with my posture, my stance, how I sleep, how I sit etc. This has helped greatly, but I still have problems from time to time, would be great to know some more self help, even self-mobility techniques for mobilisation of the lower lumbar. Any advice / videos on that would be greatly appreciated John.
Love your videos, really appreciate your knowledge and pace of delivery.

I suffer from Spondylothesis in particular Anterolisthesis with significant Lordosis in my lumbar L5 S1 and spinal narrowing in my neck . it feels like I need my back adjusted the opposite way like on my stomach with my tailbone raised up and the rest of my body at a slant and something to push on my stomach and push up and out instead of in and down . I layed down on a roller table one time purposely on my stomach and when the ball came up both ways in cracked my spine that way it felt so good more than the normal way.

Difficult to treat a Spondylolisthesis and its best to leave alone in my opinion - I to have narrowing in my neck - that's not great so I can sympathise with you - regards JG

Great video John. When you thrust where exactly your thumb is pressing- is it on the spinous process?

    • @JohnGibbons

Thanks and no direct thrust using the thumb - regards JG

Hello Sir I am following you since long and I have learnt from you so many things. Sir you have not mentioned which vertebra was miss aligned here and in which direction. Can you please tell what was the fault so that it can be more easy to understand.

Weight control, healthy diet and walking are usually the best tools & should be mentioned first!! Massage and difficult stretches can easily worsen inflamed lumbar. Chiropractors often cause injury.
