As a totally blind and successful business guy I still ride the bus after all these years. This takes me back to my school bus days when I was very young. My first bus ride was back in preschool, and it took over an hour and a half to get to school and an hour and a half back from school. I got to love the bus and it was so fun. My first bus driver ever was a sweet Italian lady named Jannett. She was awesome and taugh me a lot of things riding the bus for the first time. My bus was bus 14. She showed me what my life was going to bee like as I was learning how to ride the bus. I was so excited to ride the bus and I got to love riding it. Now,,,, as an adult and successful business owner who is totally blind, i ride the bus in and out of county. Not riding for school anymore…. Those days are said and long gone… but riding buses now for a totally different time now in my life. I always get asked if I have ever gotten in trouble on the bus and I never have. I even back in school never got in trouble on the bus cause i was well behaved and did what my drivers asked me to do and still to this day I do that. Now as a commuter. Back in the day as a little child with my lunch box and as I got older with my backpack, well, now days commuting I have my brief case and sometimes my electric lunch box with me depending where I am going, their is that part of me that still things about riding the bus to school. Bering on the bus does bring back flash backs of when I was in school and way back when I was in preschool. It’s funny how things like that bring back memories. I feel for this kid. That sounded like me when I was a little child I got so excited to ride the bus. I remember some nights as I got a little old correction. My bus drivern’s name was Jannette. She was awesome. It was not Jannet. It was Jannette. I remember feeling on some school nights that the night before seemed really long. That is cause i was so excited to ride the bus. After Jannette, I had many bus drivers throu they were all amazing and helped me out in some way. My bus drivers today going to and from are very cool and awesome. Love them all. ❤
