- Today is a very special day in our household as our daughter, Maya, has decided that she wants to be baptized. The kids are gathered in our homeschool room creating some fun bracelets with a friend in preparation of the celebration. Since I was 6 I watched Addy and Maya grow into such kind, sweet girls who honor god and themselves, who treat everyone with such respect. They have grown up with me and been my idols for just over 6 years, and even if they don’t know me directly, they have always felt like sisters for me.
