I live nearby the plant and have heard things regarding the owners.
1. One of the owners is so ill tempered that he occasionally physically abuse his workers when they make mistakes.
2.. There are no proper hierarchy of roles in the plant, I don't think they even have a manager.
3. Poor quality management. The equipments are old and rusted
4. Underpaid workers.
Overall, the owners are violating so many rules and standards, it's amazing the plant is still being allowed to run like this, there is no proper management team and safety protocols. The people running the plant are clueless on what to do when certain situations arises.
(This is what happens when the owners maximise profit over quality)

Shortage of manpower, poor safety regulations ,laxity on the part of workers , heavy demand of the liquid oxygen by hospitals compounded by the proprietor's lack of concern for his employees and careless business ethics led to this sad loss of a father/son/husband ! Hope justice is served so that such incidents never happen again !

The owner could be sued under the Factories Act 1948. But Chobemo had every right to leave the job the moment he felt he was exploited by the owner. The families were in panic and traumatic shock (which every human being would be in this case) led to the accusation of the owner and uses of big words. The owner on the other hand was also in complete shock, definitely was in great fear and sorrow yet assures that he would look after the family. The govt. have issued numerous rules and regulations regarding the safety and working condition of the workers yet non of us pay attention to it which leds to these kind of tragic incidents. It's a very sad day for both the families, I pray that God strengthen Chobemo's wife and his little baby with courage and the ability to forgive. Also, definitely the owner should look after Chobemo's family in all his possible means and his factory should be inspected by the industrial authority for safety and legal proceedings.

Just visited 4/5 Pork Butcher Shops this morning but inspite of the skyrocketing increase of it's price at one go , Many of the Butcher shops are Charging Rs. 370/380 per kg saying It's a Local Pork on the pretext of making distinction between Local pork & Supply Pork. This is too much, Pork business in Nagaland especially in Dimapur has become next to black marketing & nothing else! The public should raise a strong resentment protest otherwise These Defaulters will keep on robbing the innocent public at one Whimsy.

After listening to the working environment and situation. It is against the safety of the worker and such kind of defect cylinder must be fixed by professionals only. The owner is not following proper industry safety protocols. Justice must be served immediately.
As per ground report and complainent and the owner . complaint against the owner is not reasonable... ofcourse There is only a mistake and misunderstanding between both of them.. chumbemo died not because of shortage of worker but explosion of cylinder..and if the workload is heavy he should have leave this job from the first and the other hand if the cylinder is totally damage.. not only the owner he is also responsible to change the cylinder.. why because whole day he is the only man working with the cylinder... But in current incident it is some how defolt of the operator he should be kick off from the very job alcoholic or drinkers will never do this better his consciousness is on alcohol ,v want justice ⚖️
