  • After sitting in the woods for over a month, my camera trap is finally producing images! I was able to capture my target species along with a handful of others! Be sure to let me know your thoughts with a comment below, like, share and subscribe! Enjoy!

Of course, I love all the cool possum and raccoon photos, but add a bobcat and a mink is awesome!

The ghosting images, I thought, are amazing. It’s like you’re capturing spirit animals.

You have an exciting approach to capture a Raccoon and Bob Cat with rim lighting. They will only get better. I hope you can also capture the mink, that would be special. Ghost images, I find that amazing, I find it difficult to fully understand how that is possible. Such interesting and unique captures. Watching from Hereford, Arizona. Thanks for sharing,

I hope to capture the mink again too! I'll discuss the ghosting images in the future video :) thanks for watching!

Wow! You had quite a variety of animals on the log. I have to say the one that surprised me the most was the rabbit! 🤞Mr Bob returns!!

Unless I was on private property I wouldn't be able to sleep very well with 5K in gear sitting out in the wild. But I sure do like the quality and beyond average trail cam setup.
I almost wish I never found your channel because now I have get this setup.

haha!! It's definitely on private property and I do constantly thing about something being stolen one day. Thanks for watching Dave!

Fascinating! I truly appreciate your openness and clarity about your setup. I wish I had access to such a private, secure location. Where I live, there are so many people who are dedicated to messing around with or destroying field camera set-ups that it's just too expensive a risk for me. But it's a wonderful thing to see all the life going on around us that we'd never know about without your documentaries.

Hello Neil, I’ve had water get into my Camtraptions housing as well and in my case I don’t think I tightened the lens port. It has an o-ring on it to provide a seal but the lens port needs to be tight to make it work. I thought I’d share that in case that’s what happened with your setup. Keep ‘em coming! I enjoy watching your series. -Bill

This may not work but what if you put a reflector on the camera side of the log to return some of the rim light. Thinking out loud, of course you could just add a front flash.

    Mr. J,
I’m not telling I’m truly asking? If you increase your iso but leave the camera in av won’t the net effect be the same as the camera will just stop down the lens due to high iso. Great video as usual. I love your co tent and I have began to assemble my 1st dslr camera trap inspired by you. Many thanks.

    Those raccoons are very suspicious.
