very simple. I loved how easy you made this process. I recently withdrew from an online adobe class and I found this very helpful. It also helps not to have to spend money on a program when you've already spent thousands on a MAC. thanks. I would love to see more videos
Thank you so much. I liked how you spoke quickly and showed us at the same time. No fluff, just right to it! Those are the best youtube videos. Thanks again!
This couldn't have come at a better time! Releasing an upgraded version of my course at the end of the summer and need to create worksheets and checklists. Thanks!
Thank you!!! Best eye opener for me was, in fact, how simple the process is and that I can can use Pages which I already have for free on my Mac. Yay!!!
I appreciate this so much. I'm creating my first workbook. I have other tools and have used a million in my life, but I really wanted to create something that wouldn't be difficult for people to print. Other tools create more beautifully-designed output, but after exploring all of them...I'm right back here. Thanks for posting this.
Hi Courtney, You mentioned in your video that Pages doesn't allow you to input a Hex Color. It does. First, you need to select an object to colorize. Second, select the Color Wheel. Once inside the color selector thingy you have five color selection options at the top of the navigator. From left to right, "Color Wheel", "Color Sliders", "Crayons", "Spectrum", and "Colored Pencils". Choose the "Color Slider" option. (It's the one to the immediate right of the Color Wheel.) Choose the "RGB" option in the drop-down menu. Once there you will notice a Hex Code option input box about halfway down. Voila! Now input your hex code.
Add the hex code is only for RGB mode. I don’t know how to use CMYK mode, is the best for color quality for Print. I am sad, I want to use CMKY mode and general and change automatically to RGB 😢😢😢
Thanks Courtney for this useful video!! I just subscribed to your channel! I am new to pages and i was looking for the way to add a background but couldn't find the option to do it, as I didn't know i should have switched the document into a Layout doc. The process is super simple and you gave me super cool tips to create killer PDF pages!!! Thanks heaps!
Great tutorial Courtney! I typically use MS Publisher to create my worksheets and workbook, just because I learned how to do it as a teenager and it's good to use some old comfort zone skills. However, after this tutorial, I'm definitely considering using pages instead. It looks easier than I thought. I mostly create PDFs as optins (worksheets or small ebooks), and a the final deliverable for my signature service.
thank you, this was very useful. One problem I had was my PDF export had a lot of extra blank space around each page instead of how it looked on my screen. Would you happen to know how to remedy this?
HI COURTNEY! I want to make a PDF for print, but when I want to use CMYK for Print for best COLOR quality automatically change to a RGB mode 😢 Do you know how to fix that ? I really appreciate your answer😊🌟😃
Great video!! But a bit too fast especially for those of us who are using Pages for the very first time. That said! Using pause are rewind is very helpful. I really would have loved to see your process for word doc. creation and then how you dropped into pages.
Hi Courtney :). I love using apple pages to create with. It’s so much more intuitive than adobe indesign and it’s free! FYI you actually can select a hex code in pages. In the colors panel under the RGB sliders (right next to the color wheel) there is a box where you can select or place your brand hex color. Super helpful!
This was great Courtney. Thanks so much for this. Question: Can we insert an image, icon or watermark to spruce up the doc? Something small not to use too much ink. Please advise if you have alternate vid.
Yeah, it is very good to know that some latest software application is available on internet and mobile 📲📱 application, So we can 🥫 apply any design for the face book 📚📖 page 📄📃 and instagram profile photo album share and promotions everything is in this short cut way. Hi Courtney, great video. Thank you for this. I made a training manual using all of these helpful tools, however, when I print the document the bars do not go all the way to the end and the bottom gets cut off. I know this is something to do with the way I am printing it. I have tried everything but wanted to see if you ran into this same issue and if you had any solutions, thanks!
hey love your energy. had a quick question since its concerning pages... Building a "FORSALE" sign in Pages. Using the pull away number tabs like in the stock template found in Pages. Anybody know how to just duplicate the original cell and phone number and just copy them over to each additional one ?
I’m designing a planner new to pages and I can’t figure out how or if I can insert a page if I want to add them after another page? Want to add some pages in between for notes
Are you using a mouse or just the typical track pad for navigating during this presentation? I'm asking because it seemed effortless and I struggle between deciding if a mouse or track pad works best for me. Otherwise, the video was very informative and I've subscribed to your channel.
Great video! But how do I add a border around a shape in a different color? The obvious function is not working, maybe I'm missing something. Thanks! Subscribed !
You sound like a designer - at least you know some rules in designing: Keep it 'simple' - Use 1 or 2 colours. Even the best designers struggle with 3 or more (my art teachers always say this) Thanks for the tut.
Tell me in a comment: What do you create PDFs for?!
As you wish : i prefer Keynote, more efficient to build design and document.
thank you this was so helpful x
Unchecking document body. So simple, so profound. Thanks.
Mind blown, even with simply the Document Body check box. Thank you, I won'd muddle along quite so badly in Pages any more!

Thank You!! The Shapes and colour changing were really helpful. 💜
YOU ARE A GENIOUS! THANK YOU SO MUCH 🎉🎉🎉
I recently started with pages, everything is new. I even thought to go back to canva. But I am going to give this a go. Thanks a lot.
The color match tool was explosive!!!
Courtney, fantastic tutorial on how to create beautiful PDF worksheets in Pages for Mac. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Heather!

Super Helpful Sis 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you! So helpful. Have used Word in the past. 😅 I just bought a MacBook and want to try to learn Pages instead of buying Microsoft Office.
Thank you - this was very easy to follow and just what I needed! I create PDFs for my online courses on mindfulness
You make this look so easy! Thanks for sharing Courtney!
I'm glad to hear it! Thanks, Cindy-lou!

I had the same question - thanks for adding this!

RGB color is for devices

Great tutorial thank you. I use open office and then PDF escape.
loved loved it! thank youuuuu
Thanks for sharing - it made my next project very simple. I was tearing my hair out with Canva!
Hi and thanks for this. Just wondering how good the printouts are, resolution wise etc., esp if there are images.

Good tips Courtney. I agree that Pages beats Canva for this purpose. Canva is good for extremely simple memes etc. Thanks for making this.
great job!
Thank you!!
