I'm really enjoying the little narration pieces you add in; I know it's for the audience, but I still hope that you guys have fun with it too. It's like playing pretend, just as grown adults :D
@@daskalosBCE I've just caught up with the last 4 episodes and had them on the background as I worked from home, so I apologize if what I'm about to ask has been answered throughout the vids... do you have/use any similar 3D render/projected/AR tech irl to see how proposed restoring would interact whit what you are left with? Is there some form of equivalent tech that allows this kind of overlay?
@MarcoChurchH Excellent question! I don't know of any AR or 3d rendering that we use to see an overlay. However, I am currently working on something :)
@daskalosBCE I think you should be able to do something a bit like this with Litematica and Syncmatica if you make a schematic of the proposed restoration?
Yessir! I’ve been waiting for this vid. I’m even inspired to restore the Ancient City completely to its former glory, then modernizing it all in Bedrock survival mode.
@alexis_electronic Hypothetically, since I created it on a realm, I could make transitional pictures via the world backup feature, however, I sadly haven’t recorded it on video, and I don’t have a recording setup
This series is awesome!! I would also love to see you restore an ancient city to what you think it was like during its “golden age” with some artistic liberties, of course.
Those pathway/hallway things are coming together so nicely!! Can't wait to see them come together! Also, if you use glow item frames instead of regular ones, it might make the maps easier to see at night.
Me getting into the music with the before and afters (singing “bam bam ba da bum bum”) and then suddenly the screen said to be continued and I was like “agh nooo” 😅
Aaagh! These are just too goood! My impatient arse wish these would come out more frequently but I know that the fact that they don't means that you take the proper time to make them this good, which I love!
Quick question (if I may ask): What are you gonna do with the parts of the hallways that end abruptly? (both either facing another hallway awkwardly or ending at the edge of the city)
Wow. I wish I had that schematic thing! I was worried you guys would fill in spots that are incorrect because the walls (and especially the gate) can be tricky, but nah. Y'all were thinking 5 parallel universes ahead of me! XD
I love your videos, but I would like to request that you put up more lighting when filming in a dark environment. I also noticed that when watching your Skyblock movie - when you were in Tartarus it was always so dark that it was hard to see what was going on.
Oh just wanted to say the blue wool near the wooden stuff isn't the only type of blue wool to generate with the structure. Dark blue wool can also be present. Don't know if yours came with that or not.
W vid can’t wait to see it fully restored.
Me too!
I will use the restored version as a base for a base and nether portal.
Coming along! Glad to see the scematics syncing up properly!
job is way more fast now!

Funny thing is that those narration bits are just paraphrased conversations we actually have
Looking great!
It's good to see you using Syncmatica. It makes it much easier to see the similarities in the sections you're restoring.
It is definitely going to make things go by much faster

Oh I understood him to mean in the real world. We will need doing exactly that for this restoration

please post pictures and video somewhere!! your work of art should be able to be appreciated c:

@ I will post the pictures of before-after-everafter once I finish it on my channel, though. Thanks for the appreciation!
Survival is a certain type of crazy!

That is coming
Think of how much colour there could be if any decayed paint was restored!

When I release the world update it will always be noon, so no need :)
I'm sad the video is over, I can't wait for the next one!

Thanks!
This guy is so underrated

Looking at them it seems that that's how they were made, so I wont be doing anything to them that adds too much
music choice is peak as always
This is so soothing to watch. My brain just settles in and relaxes
I'm glad you're enjoying it
Looking great so far! Can't wait to see more!
I cant wait to show you all more!

Comment for the algorithm
Thanks!
Bro I been waiting for this vid to drop
i have been doing the same thing in my world. it is tricky as heck
survival?

Glad you like it!
great content
Wow! Very fun! :D
Just started wondering if there were pristine versions of these structures hidden in the code.
But it would ruin the fun we've had😊
A yes the video I've been waiting for since october 🙃
Comment to feed the algorithm.
Thanks!
Great, I'm ready to move in! How much is the rent?
