Great story and beautiful cutter! That specific one was put out by the R.J. Reynolds company out of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Originally for slicing up whole leafs but works great as a plug cutter too!
Ok, 3 comments 1. Cutter is a beautiful! 2. 606 one of my favorite shapes 3. Good story to share I like listening to you. I pray for the families of the loved one that have crossed over Jordan. Enjoy your weekend. Think back to the old days when somebody walked into a country store and said " Can ya cut me a nickles worth of tabaccer" and out comes a plug as long as your arm and the cutter zips through it. Havr a great weekend Stumbo family,Tommy
Thank you very much Tommy. That 606 & Strang pairs well together. Yes I think, what all tobacco was cut or who all used it. Have a great weekend as well Sir
Buddy! That cutter is a beauty! Brought back some old hunting camp memories. Made me laugh thinking of the others thinking your old uncle Peako was still a dead eye 😂 Good times!
Thank You Sir. Yeah I have some wonderful memories of Uncle Peco. He was a really good person except that no one was safe. He would talk about everyone 😂
I like your stories as they wake alot of my own memories. Funny how familiar experiences can relate to others lives. Interesting. Sorry for the loss of your friend. This virus hit our family and extended family pretty hard, and again there are restrictions being implemented again. We do stay positive and hope for a brighter future. Stay well, James and enjoy the weekend.
Thank You Tom. Yes, most ppl grew up back then the same way from my experience. Very few rich folks, the rest of us was definitely struggling but loving life. My condolences to your family. Have a good weekend Sir
Hey James. Great job on the tobacco cutter. It's really nice that you care enough to put the work into it. Nice story too. Sorry to hear the virus is so bad there.
Thank You Sir. Yes, if he spent his hard earned money on me then I’m going to try to do it justice & make it look good. Have a wonderful weekend Sir and thanks again
Hey buddy nice Sav Cam. Thanks for the story. I can't kill a deer I don't think, I would feel bad. I'm glad you have been able to collect these stories through hunting. Thats a cool cutter.Take care be well
Great restoration job James. I just found out from a Friend's wife in Alaska, they both had Covid, she recovered, her husband Jim ( my friend and former law enforcement arms instructor), is in ICU with Covid. He needs prayers
Very nice restoration on that cutter! I wonder if Watch City Cigar uses something like that to cut their thick flakes? I’m sorry to hear COVID is hitting your community so hard, especially that it is killing kids. I’ll say a prayer for y’all in my nighttime prayers. We’re having a beautiful Fall weekend here in Minnesota. ~ Sam
Thank You Sam!!! I’d say he has something fancier but maybe not. He sure has a few nice blends though. Yeah man, it’s sad. Thanks for the prayers. Have a great weekend Sir
