C-G-Am-F chord progression... the "Let It Be" verse progression, except that in that song, the F goes from an F6 to a regular F... ;)
First of all thank you creating understandable and trainable examples. l really like your work it helps me a lot to understand thank you.
You're very welcome!
Fresh video and an interesting approach.
Thanks!
great video sir a video talking about the Double Harmonic major scale would be a nice video i want to learn its secrets
Thanks, I'll add it to my to-do list!
you're doing god's work
Thank you!
@@WriteASong seriously man Im learning so many concepts! Ive always felt that key changes were something abstract. Bravo! And these videos are addicting as hell tkk
You're welcome, glad the videos are helpful.
Square music Good info
Keep up the great work! One slight correction though, around 4:57: it would be better just to refer to it as an authentic cadence, a perfect authentic cadence implies the V and I are in root position and the 1 is doubled in the I/i chord
Thanks for the comment, I'll consider this for future videos.
@@WriteASong your videos have given me some great ideas, especially ones like using sus chords and extensions, there's some material that covers these things on UA-cam but the way you present it just seemed to work for me!
That's great to hear, thanks!
C and G also share e minor? Is there a reason you don’t use that as a pivot chord
Yes you're correct, I didn't deliberately miss it out in the examples. You can use it like any of the other pivot chords in your songs.
You almost couldn't make the video harder on my eyes
Sorry about that
