run yu would literally be the best villain ive seen so far. like, his emotions say it all.
I never really saw him as the villain. Run Yu's mother was tricked by the emperor, the empress tricked him as a child into abandoning his mother, Jin Mi fell in love with Phoenix, but she was supposed to be Run Yu's bride. The brother's vied for Jin Mi's attention and she loved them both, but in different ways. The empress and emperor were the real villains.
Até hoje nao superei Ashes of love. Runyu nao foi justiçado. Ele sofreu desde o início. Não merecia ficar sozinho. Pode-se entender claramente toda a sua trajetória. Ele merecia ser feliz também. Essa sequência é maravilhosa. Luo Yunxi é meu preferido na China. Parabéns a todos os atores envolvidos no drama!

I hate this Drama. No matter how much I love someone I would never sleep with my brother’s fiancée. If we were truly in love and meant to be we could wait till there was no attachments. What kind of Hero does that? Killed it for me at that moment and I’ve never gone back to finish watching it. Anyway Luo Yunxi was still the better Actor back then and even more so now. Love Luo🥰
Never say never... (I have not watched this drama yet but...) people do weird things sometimes. But I agree, break off previous contracts first, have sex later.
(Since my sister has absolutely the worst taste in men, I confidently can say I would never have slept with any that were "hers", so for me it is easy to say. / She is married now and I would not touch that guy with a ten foot pole that way.)

What a powerful episode it was..At the end of the day whatever things they've done in the past,all they've done for their love that's Jinmi.Technically can't blame any of the brothers
What the second lead did isn't love at all and it's about winning for him and not wanting to lose to the male lead so he did those awful and evil things to the female lead knowing she never loves or like him romantically.
@@beckyburton9749 What u said is true but Runyu has his own reasons for doing so(which he thought he's doing correct) though the method he followed was absolutely ruthal and tragic inspite of the fact how much traumatic his childhood be but that's not the right way of taking revenge on Xufeng.Also at the same time he loves Jinmi so he just doesn't want to lose to his brother.It just that all together everything happened which lead both the parties to suffer.That's why I said so but I never supported Runyu for what he'd done I just understood his pain for doing so :)

6:07 father gave me a sword to quell evil (demons) and not to kill brothers....I think this is the best side of XuFeng's character, Runyu had poisoned him and made a plan that made him die at the hands of his lover but at Runyu's weakest point, XuFeng didn't hold a grudge he fixed everything for RY. because until the end he just wanted Jinmi and nothing more

I know this isn’t the point but sometimes I’m amazed at how few words are used but in English it’s so many more, like sometimes I haven’t finished reading the subtitle before they’re onto the next lol
The reason I can't enjoy this series is coz i don't think the script was fair to Yunxi's character n i can't stand to see him suffering . That male lead was ok but Leo Yunxi is my favorite n if he were the lead then I'd have loved the series

Yunix when he looked healthy. It broke my heart to watch him in light chaser rescue as he looked so thin. A great actor who I love to watch but I hope he is able to put more weight on. Having said that, I loved Ashes of Love. It was one of my first C dramas. Check it out as all the stars have done well since then. 💃🏽
I heard he used to be a ballet dancer and I've seen pics of him from that time. He had such great healthy muscle tone for a dancer. Not sure what happened to him once he entered the acting world but I suspect he's dealing with some demons and most likely an eating disorder. Really sad to see how thin he seems to get every year.

Runyi is one of the most selfish and manipulative characters I've seen in a few months in these dramas. I couldn't stand him and haven't been able to watch the actor that played him in anything else yet.🙃😄 I am still watching clips and episodes 3 months later. Forever a fan of this drama. Phoenix and Jimin forver. 😍 I really hope that DL will overcome his tax issues and be able to act again.
His character disgusted me so much i found it really hard to not hate the actor. It took a while before I could watch him in another drama and not feel hatred. I would just ignore his dramas but now I can watch him.

@@aliciafry4658 The first time I watched this show was on Netflix so there was no comments but when I rewatched it on UA-cam I was sooo shocked that there were people who liked him and wanted Jinmi with him after the first few episodes. I understand not putting real life morals into movies but even in the movies morals he was despicable. Very weird people those
i liked Run Yu a lot after the first few episodes too, i wanted them to end up together as well. but as the story went on and it became apparent that he was turning into a manipulative, conniving monster who was obsessed with Jin Mi, i began to become disgusted. what started as a youthful friendship and crush turned into something so sinister due to the abuse and mistfortune bestowed upon both Run Yu and Jin Mi by the Heavenly Empress
@@megv7481 Run Yi secretly hated his brother. He chose to hate him instead of judging him by his actions towards him throughout their lives together. Phoenix loved him on the other hand and went above and beyond to show him inspite of the stupid mess and manipulative tactics that his mother and Run Yi pulled. I will not give Run Yi a free pass because he went through some hardships in life since we all do. Heck, Phoenix was suffering due to his mother always pitting him against Run Yi among other things. I do empathize with Run Yi's character for the losses and heartache he endured from his sorry excuses for parents, but I don't condone anything he did after episode 3(whenever Phoenix declared his feelings. towards Jinmi in front of him and her guardians in the Flower Realm.

Nesse episódio o lindo Xu Feng teve a chance de tirar vida desse imperador e não tirou , isso porque a essência de Xu Feng é do bem. Enquanto que imperador do mal nunca conheceu o verdadeiro amor, ficou sozinho .
Runyu não era mal, apenas nunca foi amado como devia, nunca aprendeu a amar.
Bom dia. Eu até concordo que ele tenha mágoas dentro do coração dele. Mas ele como imperador teria que pensar não só no estar dele , mas de um povo estava abaixo dele , os seus súditos e as outras pessoas do Reino cestial. Pq o irmão dele sofreu muito foi muito humilhado por ele pelos próprios pais deles , nem por isso ele agil de forma arrogante , sem se preocupar com o destino de um reino. O Runyu teve tudo pra ser um ótimo imperador mas prefiriu agir com ódio e arrogância ele perdeu o controle. Penso que os pais deles não tivessem acertado o compromisso de casamento deles , dá Ji mi e dele , acho que sofrimento todo não teria acontecido entre o Runyu e O Xu Feng e Ji Mi.
Concordo em parte com vc, mas de uma coisa tenho certeza, Luo Yunxi arrasou nesse papel, Runyu pra mim em termos de dramaturgia, é o melhor personagem de Ashes of Love🔥🙌🏻🔥🙌🏻.E em trajes neste estilo ninguém o supera.Lindo e elegante!!

I left this series before reaching mid way. I just couldn't bare to see RunYu in pain. Right when the mother tortured him I searched to see if he would get a good ending. The ending I saw never satisfied me so I saved my tears for a different series with a good ending

And conveniently asked Match Maker to make you have a romance with Jinmi?? HOW DID YOU PLAN TO PROTECT HER WITH NO MEMORY??? AND KNOWING YOU WOULDN'T BE CONNECTED BY FATE UNTIL YOU WERE ADULTS?????? so even though you KNEW that IT WAS YOUR MOTHER trying to kill her, and that she wouldn't risk hurting you, she could have killed Jinmi at ANY POINT she wasn't standing right beside you, which was MOST OF THE TIME. I'm sorry, but following her into human realm makes no sense AT ALL unless you were banking on Runyu and Water Immortal protecting her while you got to have romance times with Jinmi. Acting all high and mighty because you "didn't scheme" is just rediculious.
