Did the Maiden on mine this morning. Went through Six 3s 850s. Love this thing.

I learned with 850’s (4) then got 4 of the 600 mah …big difference. I swear they last longer…Fun factor 10 for 10. On my 2nd fuse now , will get a new plane before it’s all over ☮️

Love this plane! Such a fun and amazing flyer. Just one thing - I use it as a 3d trainer, which is how HH markets it IIRC. Doing so makes crashes inevitable at least for me and though it usually involves a very simple repair, after lots of flying and several repairs, she starts to look a bit scruffy. I went to see about purchasing a new set of wings as mine are still flyable but definitely not looking like new lol. HH wants $30 for a part that likely costs about $2 dollars to make. I have a small CNC router so I plan to buy some foamboard and reproduce my own wings but eventually will be able to easily crank out duplicates of all the foam parts. I would imagine others have the same idea so if anybody discovers a source for eratix foamboard spare parts other than HH high priced ones, let us know. Once I get set up I may make up a bunch of foam spare parts for eratix and list on ebay. They won't have the pretty paint job but I would only make duplicates available that are structurally equal to or superior to stock bits.

Don't do this where anybody can see, but slap a small 4S on, drop the prop size down to 8" slow fly... and go blow some holes in the air... I promise I won't tell anybody...

Such a great plane. It's my first 3d plane and it's difficult to fly all my other planes because it's just so fun to fly.

OK. Now you did it. I'm getting one now that I can see how well it wind surfs. Great video Brother. What size battery were you using in this video.

Once again, pretty sure 4S 650... my fav batt with this plane. Plenty of fun on 3S 800/850 but just a little more fun with 4S... need to drop prop size to 8 X 3.8 SF or something like that to keep things cool.. This plane was MADE for windsurfing....
