- Here is the new project for the channel. I have not yet decided how far I want to go with it in terms of restoration and rebuilding. I don't think I will do a concourse nut and bolt restoration as I do plan on using it in the summer months but it does need some overhauling done here and there.
This video is just an introduction, look over and a wash until I decide where to start. Let me know what you think or what you would do. I won't be doing any boy racer modifications but I will do sensible upgrades as I go. Poly bush, braided brake lines etc

I’m going to enjoy these Z20 videos, having the VXR Nurburgring myself. Be good to see a full restoration on the gsi and throw the entire exhaust in the bin where it belongs lol.
Thanks for the comment! I’m not sure if I will be doing a full restoration on it yet but yes, the Scorpion exhaust will definitely be going in the bin 🗑

We dont like pops and bangs. Nasty!. Keep it pure bro. Z20LET. Even roof lining is in good nick. Mines sagging. Car looked rotton underneath, must be weather up there.
Agreed! I can’t be done with re-maps etc but that could just be an age thing 🤷🏻♂️ it’s not rotten but it does need a bit of work but what car doesn’t 😏

Hi Andy, beautiful car worth hanging onto. I would keep it OEM if it were mine, you see im a Vauxhall purest !!! ive owned my VXR Astra H racing since new, not a pop,bang or flame in sight !!. Having said that you should check out Aaron Unknowns channel, what he does to Astra G's would blow your mind, perfection to another level.
I’m too old for modifying motors and OEM is far easier to maintain and less trouble. I do understand the young ones wanting to spec them up and pretending they are professional race drivers, I did it myself back in the Nova / Cavalier days 😂
Yes Aaron does some blinding stuff to his motors (mainly the red GSI) his finances are much bigger than mine though 😔

Great channel this, has a clear direction in being vauxhall related, which I think is a smart vehicle choice. I would honestly try to speak in video's, think that will elevate your following 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the comment! 😁 too many channels where there is a lot of waffle and not enough “ to the point” content. Also I can’t talk about what I’m doing and do it at the same time, I tend to zone out when I’m doing things.

@@AMSVauxhall I couldn't agree more, too many channels speak for too long, I'm merely suggesting the subtitles you put up, in of wrotongt them you speak then with alittle explaining, this way we get a feel for the guy behind the camera. The way to build a brand repor is for us as your subscribers to get a feel of the real you = bigger growth. Plus you seemed quite an accomplished mechanic or DIY mechanic. Something your subscribers are trying to emulate, but there maybe time where that bit of explanation goes along way = a like or a subscribe. You should do a few trials with it and see how your video fairs with some talking and no talking.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Keep it up
@@evieemaya88 I have been thinking about doing the voice over in the future so I might give that a go once o get a better camera etc. Filming just now is mostly spare of the moment and then edited a few days / weeks later when I have time. Thanks for the feedback though, not enough of that really 🤙🏻
